    Weekend Getaway

Clean and cozy property close to downtown Paonia. We attended the Cider Fest at Big Bs and it was so nice to have a place to crash locally after a long day. PJ the dog was an added treat. Gave us love and snuggles in the morning. View from the porch is wonderful.

I cannot recommend this place enough! If you're traveling to Paonia, especially if you're traveling here for the wineries, absolutely stay here. Tim was so helpful and had very quick responses to any of our questions. He was also extremely welcoming and had terrific suggestions of local places we should check out. He gave us a terrific list of restaurants, pubs, hikes and even a farm we could check out for a private tour. He is a terrific Airbnb host. The apartment itself and its location could not be better. The apartment is comfortable and cozy (very clean too), and you are left wanting for nothing. Extra blankets, spare toiletries, coffee and a stocked kitchen are provided and easy to find. The apartment is re-done spectacularly and was extremely comfortable on the couple cold nights we had. Plus, the views are incredible. You're not going to get a better sunset. And, you have multiple wineries within a 5 min drive away. Oh! We were also able to bring our dog for a very reasonable pet fee. Tim's home has a HUGE field next to it, perfect for dogs to run around in. We can't wait to stay here again!

    Two thumbs up!

The owner, Tim, was very welcoming when we arrived. His dog PJ is so sweet and loves attention, if you're willing to give it. The apartment is attached to the owner's home, yet private. Access is either up a dirt path or up a flight of stairs and across the deck. Although it was not a problem for us, it might be difficult for someone with physical restrictions. This rental is located in a quiet country area, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There is a beautiful view from the large window in the living room or from the enormous deck. And the stars at night... oh my goodness! I definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Tim!!!

We stayed at Tim's apartment for Mountain Harvest Festival. It was the perfect location to visit Paonia's wineries and farms. The well-furnished deck offers amazing views of the valley and mountains. At night its dark enough to see the multitude of stars as well as the Milky Way. Tim's cat and dog were also very fun and relaxing to share the huge deck with. Tim, the owner, is an amazing guy and offered the best conversation and hospitality possible. He is a true Renaissance man and staying here and getting to know him was a privilege and highlight of our road trip. We would recommend Tim's AirBnB to anyone and hope to return soon.
