Good location
4/5 We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It has a great location. The VRBO pics of the condo make it look very bright inside, but we found it rather dark. We kept lights on even during the day. The dining room table was covered in plastic (obviously to protect it) but it seemed a little shabby. The toaster didn't work, a complaint in a previous review. Having said that, we felt the price point fit our budget. The bed was very comfortable!

Good Location But Unit Needs Upgrade
3/5 I will start by saying Village of Oak Creek is great location, far enough away from the congestion of Sedona but close enough to enjoy galleries, restaurants and shopping. Local dining was very good (Miley's for great service and good food, Rotten Johnny's for a great selection of wood-fired pizza, Red Rock Cafe for good breakfast right across the street from condo). The unit was very clean, quiet and comparatively inexpensive. BUT it definitely needs some upgrading! Toaster did not work (had to hold lever down manually to make it work), floor lamp in 2nd bedroom was missing on/off switch so it couldn't be used, water temps very difficult to regulate in both showers, kitchen faucet handle hard to work/turn and, biggest of all, my husband could not get grills to work (followed instructions, even bought a lighter thinking maybe igniters did not work, but no luck and no one around to ask). We've stayed in many timeshare and rental units/homes for quite a few years and this one had one of the most poorly equipped kitchens and was the worst for bathroom linens (especially in 2nd bathroom). And although there were hundreds of satellite stations on TV, owners package didn't seem to include any of the local/national networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) for local news and regular weekly programming; there is no TV in 2nd bedroom. All in all, I guess you get what you pay for but we still expected things to work properly. If you're looking for just a basic "home base" for sightseeing this may be it but this is not the place for a carefree vacation getaway!

Unfortunately, regulating the water temperature is out of the owner's power as it is controlled by the HOA. The listing for this unit doesn't advertise that there is a TV in the second bedroom, but we're sorry if this caught you off guard. Regarding the easily fixable maintenance issues, the owner wishes you would have reached out via the contact information provided to you so they could address the problems while you were still in residence.
