Our family of 6 had plenty of space to sleep or just relax and hang out. The house is equipped with everything you would need. The communication was super easy and quick. Scott was very accommodating and helpful, letting us adjust our check in and check out times. Would definitely stay here again!

Just like the other reviews, and the most recent before us, we found this to be a great house; clean, spacious, really comfortable beds, great linens etc. Really makes for a comfortable stay.
Kanab is a great place to visit and use for a base too, for hiking and sight seeing.
As mentioned elsewhere, Scott is a great host - stays in contact and immediately gets back to you if any questions.

We spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Kanab. It began raining Thursday afternoon which turned to snow over night. We woke up to a beautiful landscape but no electricity. As Garkane Energy worked safely to restore the electricity, Scott kept us informed of the progress. This area doesn’t receive much snow or electric outages often, so the experience was great seeing Kanab residents out enjoying the snow. Overall, what could have been a negative for the trip turned out to be an extremely positive experience all because of the owners’ promptness to communicate.

Three couples stayed here for 5 days and did day trips from Kanab. What an experience ! After long days in the sun, we felt so thankful for such a lovely home to come back to for dinner and relaxation.
I am not going to write more as it has all been said truthfully by other reviews. This was an exceptional 5 days and we thank Scott and Eden for sharing their home with us.

Lovely home - the best I've ever rented!

There is truly no better place to stay in Kanab! This home is situated in a stunning setting. It is a beautiful, new neighborhood, surrounded by unbelievable red rocks. What a treat to sit outside in the mornings and evenings and just watch the sun against these rocks - they glow. The house: I could happily move into this house! It is a well-kept, well-loved home. There are no broken appliances, loud air conditioning units, etc. Everything is new and in perfect working order. It doesn't feel at all like a rental. I very much appreciated the cotton bedding and natural, high-quality fabrics everywhere. I am allergic to artificial fragrances and was extremely relieved to walk in and smell nothing but fresh air - no weird, artificial smells. Everything was so clean, pretty and organized. We lacked for nothing. The property owners have a book there with great suggestions as to where to eat and play locally. Scott, the owner: he could not have been nicer! He made sure we were checked in and comfortable, and was very available. Best experience I've ever had with a property owner. :)Kanab and the area: everything in town is less than 5 minutes away. This is such a great jumping off point to not only the big national parks, but a lot of other "smaller" stuff too. One of our favorite days there was spending the morning at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (sign up for a tour when you get into town - it's wonderful!) and the afternoon at the Coral Sands State Park (it's so beautiful and not far at all). The restaurants: seem to be a little quirky on the days they are open (do a little planning for that when you first get there). We loved Vermillion 45, Wild Thyme, Juniper Ridge and Houston's Trails End for dinner. And the only good breakfast place in town (that we found) is the Kanab Creek Bakery....and it is REALLY good! If I am ever back in the Kanab area, I will most definitely rent this house again.

The house is beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds, new bedding and towels, every appliance you could need (including keurig for coffee). Everything was so well thought out for guests: impressive handbook for the house with instructions for everything from A/C to the outdoor gas fire pit. Great suggestions for local restaurants, tour guides and hikes. Impeccably clean house. Scott was an awesome host with quick responses to every question. We felt like he truly cared about our stay in the house and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Super cute welcome s'mores kit was awesome too! We will definitely be back!

This home in Kanab UT is one of the best vacation homes we have ever rented! The location can not be beat. From this home, we took day drips to the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion and the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The home will leave you wanting for nothing... everything is so very nicely done. It's beautiful (made me want to come home and redecorate mine!) with so much attention to details. The sheets are super soft as are the towels and there's PLENTY of both. The kitchen had everything in it we could have wanted and more. The décor is comfortable while still being so stylish. We loved it.
The owner is in good touch with you throughout your visit ensuring you have no issues and to see if you need anything. The check-in and out process was streamlined and simple. The guide book they send became our bible for the week. We took their advice on dining and were not disappointed. Excellent job!

We fell in love a bit with the town of Kanab. It has a very small town feel while also offering nice dining options and full service grocery large and friendly grocery option. Don't miss the pharmacy which has a great gift shop and amazing ice cream! We went often!

We used the pool several times as well and many times, we were the only ones there. Like a private pool. It was nice to cool off after a day in the elements.

All in, if you are considering having a home base for your day trips out West, this should be your choice!

My wife and I used this home as a base while we visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and other local areas. The home is very new, very well-maintained and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is spacious and extremely well equipped (right down to an excellent selection of cooking spices!). The pictures do not do justice to the red cliffs that surround the home! The host, Scott, provided a very nice and professional manual describing the house rules, equipment operation, local shopping, and recommendations for local restaurants. There is a local neighborhood rec center available with pool (which we did not have time to use). The house is located at the edge of town in a quiet neighborhood but is not very far from local shopping and restaurants. The house itself was exactly as advertised and perfect for our needs. Our host, Scott, was very professional and very proactive in communicating with us. The day before our arrival the local weather was a bit nasty and Scott called to let us know and give us insight into what to expect; this was most appreciated by us. In addition one of our days there was rainy and Scott provided some guidance into possible rainy-day activities. (Scott also made sure we knew to stop at the Jacob Lake Lodge on the way to/from the North Rim for absolutely outstanding cookies!) Sitting on the patio in the evening enjoying the sunset and watching the stars was simply a wonderful treat! We would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area and we will certainly stay here again on our next visit.
