This was a nice place for our family to stay for a week. There were 7 adults and one baby and plenty of room for all of us! We were able to enjoy spending time together and also were able to enjoy privacy if we needed it. The second fridge was perfect for drinks and extra ice. The location was just a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg... just far away enough to avoid lots of traffic. It was a great place to unwind and spend a family summer vacation.

    Beautiful accommodations and peaceful setting

We were so pleased with the set up of the house. The kids ( of all ages) super enjoyed the game room. The children slept in the fun bunk beds, and the sound of their play was kept to a minimum for the rest of the house. Bedrooms were all lovey, and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was a great place to visit in while preparing meals. The only drawback for us was the fire alarm went off several times, while we were cooking bacon ! We will come back here again !

We very much enjoyed our stay. The décor was warm and friendly. We loved the location. Housekeeping could have been a little better (no chalk for the pool table). Landscaping could have been a little neater but it has been a dry season and I wish the water fountains had been working. Just a few minor suggestions, overall experience was enjoyable and I would recommend this location to visitors.

We always stay higher in the mountains but the fact the creek surrounds theproperty is priceless. Golf green in front of house. Older home, beautifully decorated with up to date decor, loved the decorations andfurnishings. All one level was nice but felt like two separate areas. Wehad teenagers with us and the rec room with 3 bunks and sofa sleeper wereperfect for them to hang out.Only a few minute unpleasant details butsimple fixes. Kitchen faucet needs to be replaced or fixed, very loose. Hottub appeared dirty on tub walls, far master shower door had not beencleaned on bottom interior lip. It had quite a bit of mildew build up.Large return vent In living room has not been cleaned in a long while. Ionly noticed because I was turning the light off. There were 14 of us andeveryone enjoyed it. Wish there was a bigger porch area or deck where youcould easily sit together without being crowded. There was an additionalfridge in the laundry room off from the kitchen which is the first I’veseen in a rental and so appreciated! Will visit again!

Great Place for Families with Littles

    Reviewed by: Jennifer B. on

We loved our stay! The home was spacious and perfect for our group of 8 (5 adults, 3 kids). The positives so far outweigh the negatives that I almost decided not to include them. But maybe the owners should know, so here goes: Like most rentals, the floors could have been cleaner. Ran a damp cloth on the floor in the kitchen upon arrival to wipe up a water spill. It was black (yuck). And for a home that is all windows on the back side, they were filthy and hard to see through in spots (particularly the master). So that was disappointing. The flower beds were all overgrown and weedy. The fountain by the hot tub was filled with stinking fetid water. My husband took at least 30 minutes to clean it out (scooped the water out by hand with a cup) and get the fountain started again so we could sit outside next to it (otherwise, yuck!). Lots of dust bunnies all around the kids bunk beds. No mattress covers on the mattresses. Only sheets (yuck again). But seriously so many other positives such as the game room, the king beds, lots and lots of towels, bar seating, four full bathrooms, and the view and overall setting. So pretty! And a short 20 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg. One last awesome thing: They had xfinity OnDemand with a recordable DVR so we were able to record and watch our favorite shows with no commercials. Awesome stuff. A good talk to the cleaning crew or possibly an investment in a deep clean and also a landscaping crew would go a long way to making this home?s curb appeal much higher.

Great for a family with teens/young adults!

    Reviewed by: Natasha B. on

We loved our stay! We chose this property for our group of 11 because we have 5 teenagers/young adults in the family and the bunkbed/game room was a perfect place for them. GPS took us a weird back way that would have been very tedious to travel, but upon arrival at the house we saw that we were actually very close to the main road so the location is very convenient to get to from the main road. The driveway is pretty steep so if there were snow or ice it could be difficult. The house is very nice and has a rustic feel. Depending on traffic it is within 20-40 minutes of everything in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville. Great location right on the golf course. The only negatives we had was there was not enough toilet paper, soap & trash bags provided. No paper towels provided. We ran out of these things. Extra towels/wash cloths would be great. We had to wash these every day. It is a large house so the master bedroom/kitchen/living room area are cold while the other two king bedrooms stay a little warm. The bunkbed/game room has its own unit so it stays nice and cool in there. Wifi is provided but if you are on AT&T there is very little service. We still gave the property 5 stars because overall it is a really great place and these small negatives would not keep us from booking this property again. We loved it!

I stayed here with my 2 sons and their families. We had 5 kids ages 5,4,3,2,1. The house was perfect for our vacation. It is all one level so no stairs to worry about. The king beds were very comfy and so great to have your own bathroom! The outdoor space was not kid friendly because it's on a hill (as most are in TN) that did not detract from our fun. The kitchen was big enough and plenty of space for everyone. The kids had a blast in the fun room. Only suggestion would be to have available in kitchen some staples like plastic baggies, saran wrap, foil. Sure hate to buy that stuff when you only need a small piece.

This was our first time vacationing in Gatlinburg & did not know what to expect. Couldn't be any better. The location was perfect; secluded yet easy to get to (from Knoxville airport) & close to everything. Beautiful well maintained home. Great view over golf course, creek and park beyond. Comfortable rooms, great beds and many amenities.Unlike many rentals we saw that are right on-top of one another, you can't see, and didn't hear, any neighbors. The hot tub was great; view of stars at night or watching the rushing creek and wild turkeys in daylight.Kitchen was well equipped; we cooked in a lot and used the grill. The pool table was great. Will certainly try to return to this place.

The color scheme makes you feel like you're staying at a very high end hotel but with all the comforts of home PLUS. The hot tub, pool table, game table, large screen tv's, games and movies...never a moment with nothing to do. Each of the bedrooms has its own bathroom and an extra one for the kids. Two refrigerators -- who thinks to do that? It was perfect for such a large group! I can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at River Green. The home was nicely decorated and well laid out for a group visit. People could move throughout the house without waking or disturbing others. The home is conveniently off of the highway although the driveway up is a bit unnerving at night because it is steep and narrow so when we arrived after dark it was a challenge. Practice your 20 point turn to get back down the drive. The home was very well maintained and everything worked as expected. Our group enjoyed our visit and it provided a nice get away for everyone. We had several people that enjoyed walking around the grounds to see a bit of nature without really hiking. Overall, it was a nice experience and we would certainly return.
