• Great location great house!

  I have to admit that the view from the place is beautiful but the house is a complete dump. For the price I would have expected something in much better shape. It was filthy inside and out. This house is also dangerous, there is an electric outlet inside the shower, and the electrical wire for the showerhead heater was wrapped with electrical tape. I wish I could show with photos but didn't see a way to upload them. The window ac unit in one of the bedrooms kept shutting down so we had no ac because it would not stay on for longer that 30 minutes. It was also plugged in to a power strip like those used in a computer which kept tripping. The stove was really nasty and all rusty and greasy and I think there was no gas because we could not get it to work. Overall I have stayed at $39 dollars a night motels that had cleaner and neater rooms than this place. I wish I had looked better. I can't believe this is listed in VRBO as a premier host. The location has so much potential but the rental needs to be demolished and rebuilt from the ground up.

  - We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed addressing. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home.
  - It is standard in Culebra to have hot water heaters in the shower heads. Many houses on this island are only piped for cold water. Due to the fact that this is a small, Caribbean island with a population of less than 2000 people, most of the houses have hot water heaters in the shower heads. We will look into rewiring the heater, but rest assured it poses no danger to guests.
  - The window A/C unit was working properly before your arrival. We wish you would have reached out and given us the opportunity to address this while you were in residence. We will replace the power strip with a heavy-duty 3-foot extension cord.
  - We were unaware that the gas for the stove ran out. We would have been happy to bring you more so you could have used the stove during your stay. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
  - We have been working to upgrade the property to include: fresh paint inside and outside and a refinished balcony deck. Next, we are planning to repaint all of the balcony railings.

  It was a nice place but need a lot of renewal , fan tv , we have to clean everything and a lawnmower urgent

  -From us here at Evolve, we sincerely apologize the owner's listing was not accurately advertised before booking. The owner does not supply a TV at the property We take full responsibility and are taking action to have this corrected
  -We strive to make our cabin as comfortable as possible for our guests. There are fans in each of the rooms to move the air around. There is also a ceiling fan in the living room to help with air circulation and added comfort
  -The home was thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the day before your arrival, including mopping and vacuuming
  -While we do have ongoing yard service that manages and keeps the yard in good order, this is the first time a guest has provided this feedback and we have had no issues from past travelers
  -We did not receive any communication from your group during your stay. However, we would have been happy to help with any questions or concerns.

  Cute place. A little grungy and there were a bunch of mosquitoes. I would recommend that if you are planning on cooking, bring your own spices. There was nothing to season with.
