Your whole Martha's Vineyard escape could surely be spent at the beach. As you work on your tan at Lighthouse Beach be sure to keep an eye out for seals swimming in the ocean. A short drive or bus ride will bring you to other beaches on the island including South Beach and Aquinnah Public Beach.
After you get back from the beach, rinse the sand off your feet using the outdoor shower and get ready for dinner! Edgartown is .7 miles from the property and is home to numerous restaurants within walking distance including The Seafood Shanty, Alchemy Restaurant, Rockfish, and Atria. If you'd prefer to venture a bit farther for dinner, take an Uber to seaside restaurants like The Dunes, Martha's Vineyard Chowder Company, and Nancy's Restaurant.
Any history buffs in your travel group will enjoy touring the many historical sites and houses on the island. The Vincent House Museum, Old Whaling Church, Dr. Daniel Fisher House are just a few of the must-see sites!

Lovely home, great location!
5/5 Lovely home with a great sun porch and back porch for relaxing family time. Excellent location on a quiet street, but close to town. We enjoyed morning walks or biking into town for coffee. Great home base for exploring Martha’s Vineyard. Gracious hosts as well!
The house was beautiful and we had a good time there. Great neighbors.
5/5 The house was beautiful and everything work well. The ONLY drawbacks for us was that the house was a little farther off of the road than we expected ( one of the neighbors stopped and gave us a ride to the house) and we thought that we could've been better informed about the ferry. We were unable to carry our vehicle across because they said that we couldn't get a reservation to bring it back to the mainland. Subsequently we used uber and had to rent another car for one day. Other than that we had a wonderful time on a beautiful island.

Everything was perfect!
5/5 Everything in this home was as advertised. There was nothing that we needed to bring. The location was perfect, an easy walk into Edgartown. We will definitely rent this home again.

Great Location; Great Price; Great House
5/5 This home in Edgartown was one of our favorite parts of our stay. It was clean and cozy with plenty of room to lounge about between our activities. The sunroom and deck were great for morning coffee and the private tree-lined drive made you feel like you?re in a villa. The best beaches in MV were minutes away. The town is too and has plenty of great shopping and eateries. You?re only 12 minutes from the ferry which was wonderful too. We loved having the washer and dryer! One of my favorite stays ever- and we left feeling like we were leaving our home! The main bathroom is a little dated but maintained- that?s the only shortcoming I can think of.
