Wonderful, cozy, clean, comfy, quiet, with great amenities. Very close to town but still secluded enough for a peaceful getaway from the grind. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for our 25th anniversary and it was peaceful and relaxing just like we were looking for. The cabin is beautiful and looks like it is brand new. The area is secluded but close enough to Murphy that you can easily get into town in a few minutes. The decks are nice and there is a fire pit outside. Though we didn't use the fire pit, it was stocked with dry wood to use. The view off the back deck is nice and the front deck is large and well furnished. The flowers all around the cabin make it really look and feel more like home more than a rental. Inside, everything (lightswitches, pantry and cabinets) is clearly labeled and easy to find. It is well stocked with utensils and everything we needed to cook meals. They even had frosted mugs in the freezer when we arrived. The washing machine and dryer worked well and the shower had plenty of pressure and the water was hot quickly. The TV's use cable free services such as Netflix. I was able to load our Vudu account on the Roku and the Blue-ray player upstairs and watch our own movies. The Internet worked well and our phones and streaming worked without an issue. The cabin is a good mix of modern and rustic with its solar lights outside, bright LED bulbs inside along with streaming services but all in a log cabin look and feel. There is a crew working on the road (Kate's Cove) and once it is finished, the drive up to the cabin will be a breeze. If you use Waze it is easy to find the cabin and it will navigate you right to it. Brenda was friendly and very helpful. She checked in with us before and after we arrived to be sure everything was fine. I would highly recommend staying at the Rocking M for any trips through the area.
