Make your way up the pathway just outside your doorstep to Hacienda Hills for a leisurely hike or bike ride along well-maintained nature trails. You’ll fall in love with views of the surrounding landscape from scenic vistas.
If you’re seeking more outdoor activities, head to Whittier Narrows Recreation Area located just 7 miles away or drive 1 hour north into the Angeles National Forest.
Spend a day exploring Venice Beach or walking the streets of Santa Monica. Head a bit further south to find yourself at the beautiful coastal towns of Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach. At Long Beach, hop aboard a ferry to Catalina Island for a day filled with snorkeling, hiking, and wine!

Very secluded
5/5 This was a very nice and quiet stay. Not much to do since the quarantine but you have to drive up and down the hill anyway if you wanted to go anywhere which took about 15 minutes each way. Was a bit confused about the lock on the door which held they key but ultimately figured it out lol. Altogether it was a great stay.

Ugh!
1/5 The design of the rooms was great. Great kitchen. But, no hand towels in the bathroom. There was a sign on the wall of the bathroom to place used toilet paper in the trash can and not in the toilet. Last morning there were ants being drawn to the toilet paper. Parking was never clarified and there was miscommunication.

Steven, we're sorry that certain aspects of your stay fell short of your expectations. The homeowner would like to clarify that since the drains were blocked by toilet paper many times, they now ask guests to please put used toilet papers in the toilet bin. They apologize for forgetting the hand towels in the bathroom and can assure guests this was a one-time mistake in over two years of hosting. The owners will also begin having a pest service come to treat the home for ants every month and will make parking more clear for future guests! As is evidenced by the many great reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing top-rated experiences, and we feel confident that future guests will be delighted. Best, the Evolve Team

Perfect
5/5 We couldn't have been happier here. The place was absolutely five star hotel level clean. It was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Plus the 5 minute drive from the freeway up the mountain was fun and lead to the most incredible views of the city. Bruce was our property care taker and he was awesome at communicating all through text and email, giving us tons of privacy. But then he proved to be truly helpful when I left our passports behind(!) and he was able to find them for us and meet my sister on property to give them back. We are extremely grateful!This little getaway will definitely be our first choice the next time we are in town.
