This shotgun-style home is in one of the best locations in the city! Magazine Street, known for its restaurants, bars, and antique stores, is just 2 blocks away. You can rent a NOLA Blue Bike and ride to tons of destinations around the city.
The Garden District and all of its mansions are only 3 blocks from 'The Queen Magnolia.' Be sure to book a walking tour to explore the area!
Hop on the streetcar located on St. Charles Avenue and take it down to the Audubon Zoo. This 58-acre zoo is home to 2,000 animals and is a can't-miss attraction! More animal adventures await at the Aquarium of the Americas on Canal Street - just 10 minutes from the house.
No trip to 'The Big Easy' would be complete without a stop by the French Quarter to party all night long on Bourbon Street. If you'd prefer to take it easy, stop by any of the district's restaurants for some traditional creole cuisine!

Could use some deep cleaning by thick dust off the fans and such since it does cause asthma to flare

Cute and Convenient
5/5 Great location just a couple blocks off Magazine with plenty of convenient parking and easy access to the St. Charles streetcar. The unit itself is well appointed and flush with amenities, except for a dishwasher. We really enjoyed our four night stay.

Pictures are NOT up to date
3/5 The pictures do not represent what the house actually looks like in real life. It did the job and it was close to everything but cleanliness was the biggest down fall. Over crowded with unnecessary furniture. Bathroom is not clean, the back door is rigged shut. The porch was un useable because furniture was scattered and flipped upside down and covered up. Host was friendly enough. I appreciate the stay but I would of preferred accurate reviews prior to booking.

-We're sorry to hear that your impression of the property fell short of expectations. This is a historic home so the rear door is rustic and antique. Admittedly, the house has been upgraded tremendously so we must update our listing.
-As for the cleanliness of the unit, our cleaning service is usually consistent in their efforts so this is something we will have to discuss with them. We appreciate you bringing some of these details to our attention so that we can address them accordingly. In addition, we encourage all guests to reach out to us during their stay to express such concerns. This helps us address these types of issues in a timely fashion.
-We are considering your feedback regarding the orientation of all furniture. We will look to adjust the position of furniture appropriately to maximize available space.

5/5 This was a 40th bday girl's trip and we had a blast! The house was close to so many things and the neighborhood was so cute. The beds were so comfortable we really had a great time!
