    Fall paradise!

    Reviewed by: Justin M. on

We enjoyed our stay at the Honey Bear lodge during our stay, October 31-November 2! The cabin was in a perfect location, close enough to Gatlinburg to enjoy the sites and sounds, but far enough away to have seclusion in the forest. It was comfy and cozy. We were there at just the right time to see beautiful fall foliage.

    Pure Relaxation

If you want to stay in a clean, cozy and beautiful cabin then the Honey Bear Lodge is it. There is a relaxing lazy stream that runs under the front deck that will help you unwind while you read a good book. The cabin is conveniently located close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Smokey Mountain National Forest. It is at a dead end of a cul-de-sac so it's extremely private. I will definitely take my family back again and we can't wait to get back to the Honey Bear.

The cabin is a perfect for a getaway. The bed is so comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. It is very well stocked with everything we needed. It?s close to the main strip in Gatlinburg, about a 5 minute drive. You would never know you were so close to the attractions, the cabin is in a quiet, wooded area.

Cute cabin in a lovely neighborhood

The cabin was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and completely equipped. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy that it had, secluded, yet 10 minutes to Gatlinburg and 15 minutes to Dollywood, 15 minutes to the Smokey Mountain National Park. There is something for everyone in this area. We enjoyed our stay.

Great cabin in a quiet location but close to Gatlinburg

Great cabin in a quiet location but close to Gatlinburg. Very charming and nicely decorated. I really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It?s at the end of the lane, so it?s very, very quiet. Everything was in excellent condition and very clean. The hot tub was extremely welcome after a long day of hiking in the Smoky Mountains National Park. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare simple meals. The sofa I was comfy as was the bed. Wi-Fi and large screen TV were nice plus when I just needed to chill. I would definitely, and hope to, stay there again in the future.

Nice small cabin in a great location.

Nice clean, newer cabin in a great location. Only problem was with the number of bath towels provided. 3 bath towels for 2 people for 5 nights. Requested more, and after several back and forth texts received 2 more with the suggestion that we could wash them if that was not enough.

    Manager's Response:
James, we're glad you enjoyed this cabin overall, but are sorry certain aspects didn't meet your expectations. The homeowner works very hard to ensure all guests who come to visit have the optimal experience. We understand she responded to your texts very quickly and was able to have the cleaners deliver more towels the following day. There are always 4 towels and guests and guests are able to use the washing machine if they plan to use the towels more often as well. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! Best, the Evolve Team

Honey Bear Lodge was everything we hoped it would be. For my family's first visit to Gatlinburg, we could not have asked for a better experience. The cabin was beautiful and private, but also close to all of the activities we wanted to do in the Gatlinburg and surrounding areas. We will definitely return for another stay!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days in late June. The cabin was perfect for our retreat. Community is relatively new with many more cabins within the secluded area. I would return to the cabin in a heart beat. Vicki was very accomodating and answered my one question within 3 minutes via text. I have friends visiting the area in October and am steering them to the Black Bear Falls community of cabins. Thanks!
