We enjoyed our stay in Gold Bar. The house is more spacious than the pictures show and also set up wonderfully for families. The beds are also quite comfortable. As far as the location it is within close proximity to the river, short driving distance to a grocery store, and many hikes.

Beautiful home and grounds. A tad disappointed that we couldn't see the river from the covered deck but it was a very short walk to the comfy seats overlooking the water. Quiet and serene. Railroad whistle in the background at night. Clean and nicely appointed with fluffy towels and comfortable furniture.

If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet, wooded location to curl up for a weekend, this is the spot for you. My fellow travelers and I wanted merely to hunker down in the quiet and read books all weekend, and this was the perfect lovely and comfortable environment in which to do so. The kitchen is well appointed, the beds were very comfortable, and there are good amenities for spending time outdoors (hot tub, firepit, picnic table), even though we didn't take advantage of them. Also, the property is a quick few minutes drive to Gold Bar, even though you feel like you're miles outside of town in the peace and quiet of the wooded countryside. The owners were great communicators, and we were left with no needs unmet. Highly recommended!

This is a terrific place: spotlessly clean, all kinds of amenities, a beautiful setting, great hiking nearby. We really enjoyed ourselves and felt we were really lucky to get such a nice place.

Nice home right next to the river in a country setting. Owner was very helpful. I wasn't able to swim, but the river was shallow and we saw 2 children playing in it. Bring water shoes if you plan to get in the river. Saw a bald eagle. We came during a warm spell and the house does not have a air condiioner. Owner provided plenty of fans though. Only 1 to 2 hours from Seattle depending on traffic.

I want to start this review by saying the owner of the property was an absolutely delight to rent from. Brooke was courteous (offering suggestions from dining to traffic), understanding (when we asked for a late departure due to my daughters wedding), and truly cares about her tenants enjoying their stay. This property offers all of its listed amenities, and the pictures do not do justice when it comes to the privacy and surrounding areas beauty. The property was clean and the grounds were very well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was very enjoyable, and the local establishments were friendly and convenient. There are several restaurants, local pubs, and a nice supermarket very close. The owner has put together a binder that provides suggestions and information about just about everything the local area has to offer. Cell phone signal for both AT&T and Sprint was strong, as was the wifi. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. Thank you Brooke for the hospitality.

The property & home are amazing! Very spacious & comfortable. The beds, pillows & linens are high quality & so comfortable. There are two bathrooms and the master bath has a soaking tub/shower combo which is great! We chose this location because it is only an hour from Seattle and an hour and 20 minutes from Leavenworth. Being about in the middle of the places we wanted to see was perfect. There is a grocery store and a delicious pizza place just minutes away from the property. It is spic & span clean, has easy to follow instructions on everything you need to know. If you are looking for a comfortable home away from home, this is it. Would be a great property to just relax at for a weekend or a week or two...highly recommended!!!

This is an amazing property! The riverfront was beautiful and relaxing. The fire pit and hot tub were great amenities to have. I’m not sure how the 5 acres is laid out as there are neighbors on either side, but never the less, it is private and there are plenty of trees and shrubs in between property lines. The house was fully outfitted with everything we needed, it was very clean, and there were plenty of towels, blankets, and kitchen supplies, etc. Gold Bar is a beautiful area. There were a ton of birds and bunnies in the yard, and nature is right within your reach. We went on a hike the day we checked out, it was beautiful. Lots of great reasons to stay at this AirBnB! There is a Diner and Pizza Restaurant within a couple mins drive.
