    Great place for a family.

    Reviewed by: Jen E. on

Love that this place had 2 twin bunk beds, providing great accommodations for our 4 kids. Check in was a breeze. Employees at the complex were very friendly and helpful. We chose to walk the boardwalk to the beach vs using the shuttle, but we could have used that if we'd wanted to. It was very pretty and a pleasant walk. It was also so nice that they provided beach chairs, toys, umbrella and a wagon to pull it all in. It was so nice not to have to haul our own stuff. The condo is a little on the older side, but you can tell the owners have worked to resolve problems and have made the best of it. We would definitely stay there again.

    Relaxing “Bachelorette” Weekend

    Reviewed by: TJ W. on

We were looking for a nice bachelorette weekend before my sister’s wedding in October. Hilton Head Resort was just the spot! The unit was the perfect size. Loved that one room had double bunkbeads! Also loved the wrap around couch! Roomy enough for the 6 of us. We had a nice boardwalk to a private spot on the beach. Close enough to many local restaurants and shopping destinations. We did encounter a hiccup. Our air in the unit went out, but Kelly and Linda were fast at responding and got it back going for us by the night. The were wonderful points of contact and you can really tell they care about you as a person and not just another “renter. Overall we had a wonderful relaxing stay. Hope to stay here again in the future.

This place looks exactly like the photos - very stylish. The convenience of the boardwalk, pool, and onsite restaurant made this place feel like we were staying at a hotel! With the beach toys and wagon in the closet, it was super easy to transport our beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. The host was also very friendly and communicative. She texted me beforehand to make sure everything was in order upon our arrival. Would recommend to anyone vacationing in Hilton Head.

    Served its purpose

    Reviewed by: Deniece M. on

This was my first time to Hilton Head and wanted to treat my granddaughters (11 and 15) and a 15-yr. old friend to a back-to-school beach trip. The unit was adequate for the stay of 2 nights. It was spacious and I liked the layout. It looked exactly like the pictures. The bunk beds worked out good although the girls didn't feel comfortable sleeping under the comforters, especially the ones on the top beds, they felt they looked "old". There could stand to be some better window covering in the room as the window faces the landing where people walk and you can see through the blind slats when closed. The master bed was ok, a bit firm for my taste. I'm not sure if the board under the mattress had anything to do with that. When we initially walked in the unit had a slight musty smell that we eventually got used to. (There is a leak spot in the ceiling over the master tub.) In general the unit has a dated feel (actually the whole complex), especially the kitchen, which we never used as we ate out for all our meals. The light fixture over the dining table was quite dusty so I wouldn't have felt comfortable eating at the table anyway. I'm not sure how often the unit gets a good deep cleaning as opposed to a general wipe down between tenants. Overall, as I said, it served the purpose and the boardwalk to the beach was convenient and didn't take long. We never took the "shuttle" (a golf cart). Appreciated having the wagon to tote chairs, etc. to the beach in but it was difficult pulling it in a straight line. Overall, not a bad place to stay but for the money I would probably try to find something else if I ever return to Hilton Head.

    Manager's Response:
Hi Deniece, We are sorry to hear that your stay fell short of expectations. The homeowner is actively updating the condo, and they have already completely repaired and repainted the bathroom. They have replaced the bedspreads in the bunk bed room and are working with their cleaning service to ensure that any issues are thoroughly resolved for their upcoming guests. The condo complex is also making updates, and will be installing new elevators and repainting later this fall. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we hope to travel with you again soon! This was one of the worst places I ever stayed in. The place smelled moldy. There was black mold in the master bath ceiling from a bad shower head. The shower curtain liner was moldy with black mold. The towel rack was broken. This place should not be rented until all the repairs are made. The elevator was broken on and off for three days. The ceiling in the parking area was moldy and falling apart.

The condo is great for a family retreat. Our kids loved the indoor and outdoor pool that was located next to the condo. It was a short walk over a scenic boardwalk to the beach. The condo came with all the beach necessities. We went the week of the 4th of July and it was still not overly congested. Kelley was great to deal with and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great.
