Great getaway - even in the winter!

This was a nice retreat for a winter weekend. We had the whole place to ourselves and had a chance to walk around the woods in the area. It's a basic place, but you can tell the owners have put a lot of TLC into it and are very responsive to any questions we had. This included the surprise snow that occurred while we were there and we weren't sure about getting out in our front-wheel-drive car. The owner plowed the road and ensured our safe departure the next day. Thank you!

    Remote but cozy

This property was extremely remote! The cabin was exactly as advertised regarding the property. We were not able to use the trails or fish due to the rainy weather but thoroughly enjoyed the peace and solitude . The large jetted tub was awesome!Would recommend bringing your own food for simple meals due to distance back to town and rough lane in and out of the property.ATVs, used by others at dusk were loud and annoying as they circled our cabin.Great getaway off the grid if this what you are looking for.

The location is very private. The silence was peaceful and nice. Please be advised if it is snowing or rainy that you will need a good vehicle to navigate the dirt road to the cabin.
