Comfy retreat close to nature's bounty

Beautiful home with great open floor plan far enough away for peace and quiet, but close to national parks, monuments and forests. Ideal porch for watching sunsets and viewing starry nights. Comfy beds, lots of towels and good appliances - a true home away from home. Check-in/check out quick and easy. Rates as one of the nicest places we've stayed.

We loved the house outside Kanab. Quiet. A great home base for all our National Park visits. The best part of being there was stepping out into the night and seeing the Milky Way. Can’t see that every night. Kathy responsive to our very need. Thanks. I highly recommend this place.

This house was so clean and comfy! We felt right at home. The views were amazing from every window. Super quiet with no close neighbors. This was also a fantastic location in between Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, and Zion. It was nice to come back at the end of the day early to relax and cook our own meals. The beds were really comfortable and the washer/dryer was such a blessing after all our traveling. We?ll definitely be back!

This was perfectly situated between the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary! Added bonus of being in Kanab, a cute town with great restaurants and a health food store. The property was clean, nicely decorated, and had a fabulous view of the cliffs behind. Comfortable furniture and beds, and all around a wonderful property!

Great location. House was as pictured. Nice to have a real kitchen and washer and dryer. Only complaints is seating and beds were a bit uncomfortable for our taste (to hard). Not a big fan of the ROKU TV, luckily we were not there to watch TV. Appreciated that there were dishes and towels, etc.

This house is beyond amazing in every way. Great king bed in strong firm shape! You are just outside of town, so you feel like you are truly in the country. The views are amazing, with mesa's and a trail very close. Sunsets and sunrises are cool, and we got to watch a storm blow in with lightening and that was very entertaining. The yard is fenced in, which was wonderful for our small dog. The deck was nice and spacious especially for just two of us. Furniture, dcor, and just overall look were all very new and modern. From a functional standpoint this was our favorite out of all our places. Tours are easy to use and they can pick you up here, the drive to Bryce wasn't bad, and the trip into town was easy. PLUS , the owners are responsive, great with ideas and tips, and the house book covers most anything they don't tell you directly. Would stay here in a heartbeat again....assuming we could get it.

This home was perfect for our stay. The house was in a great location to visit both Zion and Bryce Canyons. We came for a family trip and loved the thoughtful touches on the property. We had kitchen utensils, a toaster, coffee maker, smoothie maker, etc. Recommend stopping at Honey’s Market to stock up on snacks and food to cook. For places to eat, we went to Escobar’s which was excellent Mexican food, and Juniper Ridge for a nice-ish dinner before we left (great service and delicious food). House came with towels, soap, deck and a outside fire pit. The communal space was our favorite. The living room/dining room/kitchen boasts large windows that overlook the rock formations. Check in was also super easy! And the house was sparkling clean. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, we enjoyed it thoroughly and very much recommend to others!

The house was very clean and neat. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need and even some chocolate treats as a welcome gift. The property is well landscaped. We enjoyed coming home at night after a long day at North Rim and cooking smores on the firepit. In the morning you can have coffee and watch the sunrise over the red mountains, amazing! The property owner was amazing and the entire check-in and out process was easy and efficient. We even left a beloved stuffed animal behind that the owner graciously found and mailed back to us. So, stop looking, you have found the perfect place for your Utah and Arizona vacation.

We totally enjoyed this lovely vacation spot. Kathy and Glenn were so helpful and gracious. I inquired about a crock pot before we came and though they had a small one, when they found out we had a large family, they made sure there was a bigger one in there by the time we got there. Such a considerate thing to do! The property is immaculate and well maintained. The views are wonderful. The mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee and the peaceful sounds of nature were so therapeutic for a ?parcel full of city folk?. ??? The home is located in a wonderfully central spot. We visited Zion, Bryce, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and the coral pink sand dunes. We also did the Canyon loop visiting Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell. The kids LOVED the Kanab city pool and playground. The water slide, lazy river and splash pad were favorites! Our stay couldn?t have been better and we would definitely visit this property and area again. This was a wonderful place to create many special family memories. We miss Utah already!

Stayed here with my family of 6, we had plenty of room, it was very clean, had great views, and was well stocked (including a bowl of chocolates and water bottles in the fridge, shampoo/conditioner, spices, condiments, ziplock bags, board games, towels). The kitchen was well stocked but we did need to buy a frying pan because the ones available were pretty small and it was missing a dvd or blu-Ray player. Great location! We took day trips to the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion?s National Park, and Escalante Grand Staircase and it was very nice to come home to a large clean kitchen, a hot shower, and a comfy bed. We also found great hikes, friendly people, and a new large park in Kanab.

The house is very nice and fit our needs perfectly. It was very clean, well stocked with condiments and kitchen staples, and had an array of good quality kitchenware, cutlery, knives, etc. The hosts kindly left a jar of homemade pickles and a bowl of chocolates. All features of the house worked well, including the internet. The hosts have appointed the house in a very through and thoughtful manner. The description of the house is accurate and the house presents nicer than the photos indicate. The house is located a few miles from Kanab, with easy access to the highway and the many hiking and outdoor offerings of the area. While you can see the highway from one side of the house, the location is quiet. From the other sides of the house you have lovely views of red cliffs. The house works very well for dogs. The yard is securely fenced and safe for dogs to wander without constant attention. The community streets around the house rarely see cars and there are marked trails into the canyons only a few minutes? walk from the house. Our stay at the house was an excellent experience and we would certainly stay there again.
