Julie was an amazing host. Upon arrival we noticed that the unit was not cleaned, but Julie apologized and stated that the cleaning lady had forgotten to clean the unit and would be there in 30 minutes to clean the unit. She also refunded us the cleaning fee which was a generous offering. She also extended us a late check out on Sunday which we appreciated so much. The view of the ocean and Maui from the unit was amazing and the pool at the condo was warm and clean. We had a great time on Molokai what a magical place.

Overall we had a great time in Wavecrest A202. This was our first trip to Moloka?i and we loved the quiet, friendly, relaxed pace there. The condo is pretty well equipped, though we added a couple of kitchen gadgets. We never found a blender. The lighting in the bedroom was lacking, as the bedside lamp didn?t work and the overhead light was *very* bright. No complaints, though, as our 3 week stay flew by!

When visiting Moloka'i you will often see "Moloka'i Mo Bettah" - and it's true. THIS is the true Hawaii we all dream of. Not too many people and the locals truly have the Aloha spirit. No traffic jams because there isn't much traffic - there aren't even any traffic signals! It's easy to pick out the visitors - they are the ones who don't return your smile and are in a hurry. The max speed limit is 45 mph. This is where you slow down, relax and have a wonderful time.
The condo we stayed in was the BEST EVER!!! You may find one with million dollar furniture and advanced technology but you won't find one with a better view! The furnishings are clean and comfy - the technology is as good as the average home on the mainland (maybe better) and the place was clean and homey.
I've never gone on vacation and truly wished to stay there - until now. We love this so much we actually started looking to buy.
The homeowners are absolutely terrific. Though we never met, I feel we have new friends. Always helpful and ready to give good information.
It just simply does NOT get better than this!

What a view! Watching the sun rise over Maui every morning was amazing! The location and grounds were wonderful. The pool was a nice bonus. We appreciated the updated kitchen because we love to cook and town was far (ish) away. Great fridge and kitchen items! Everything was clean and tidy. Thanks for the spice selection! We loved the shampoo and conditioner selection. The storage in the bedroom was great as well since we stayed for more than a week. The bed was not comfortable, however. REALY hard. The pillows also need updating. In general most of the furniture was not comfortable, except the couch. The lanai chairs were terrible to sit in for long periods of time. We would stay at Wavecrest again, but just not this unit because of the bed. We LOVE Molokai!

This was a wonderful location in Molokai. The apt. had views of Maui and Lanai. The apt was nicely decorated, well maintained and comfortable. There was no beach here but it was close to a very nice beach callled Murphy's, a store about 2 miles away that sells pretty good food. Also, I would suggest the drive to Halawa valley which has beautiful views.

I have stayed on Molokai before in a condo and it was a dark little room with no view! But this was spectacular! The view is unbelievable and you can see Maui and Lanai right from the balcony. Plus you can get into the water right in front of the building for kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, etc. The pool is also right by the ocean! The condo property is really nice, but I was glad I rented this condo as the "A" building is the only one of the buildings that is truly oceanfront! The unit has everything you need and even access to free laundry! Plus there's tennis and shuffleboard on site too. Also, the east end of Molokai is the green end, so if you like to hike this is where you want to be! We were here in September 2017 and hope to come back this year!
This condo is right on the water with stunning views of Maui and Lanai. You can get in the water right there for kayaking/paddle boarding and swimming/snorkeling. And the pool is right next to the ocean too! We were here last September and couldn’t believe how awesome it was to get away from all the commercialization and craziness
we usually have in our lives and be at such a beautiful place that is off the beaten path. This is Island Living...this is what it means to hang loose and live aloha!
If you like the outdoors, the water, tennis, hunting/fishing, hiking and lots of peace and romance...this one’s for you! Hale Kailani really is the House of the Heavenly Sea! We will be back!!
