The Burr Trail out of the nearby town of Boulder offers swirly red and white Navajo sandstone domes followed by the impressive towering red cliffs of Long Canyon which breaks out into the vast vermillion Circle Cliffs before plunging down heart-stopping switchbacks into the Waterpocket Fold of Capitol Reef National Park.
