We were a party of 8 and stayed for 3 nights for New Years Eve and we all enjoyed the stay very much! There was plently of space for each of use, we could all have privacy with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. The kitchen was fully equiped , we were able to cook new year's eve dinner so easily. The location fantastic! The view breathtaking! Will return on summer time for sure!

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Lodge in Winthrop Maine spending a few days together over the holidays with our adult children. We arrived later than expected and Carole was there to meet us with the details of the house. She had a pot of coffee brewed and a warm fire lit in the beautiful stone fireplace. It was perfect! The house is lakefront and has a gorgeous view. The house is large and very well equipped. We had a group of 9 adults and there was plenty of space! Beds are comfortable and fireplace was so cozy! The area feels remote but with the convenience of being able to get to stores and restaurants. We definitely recommend and hope to return during the summer! Thanks!! AnneMarie and Chris

We had a group of four and even with an entire trip's worth of gear, we had extra space at the rental--so much so that we hosted a cookout for even more folks to join us. We couldn't have been happier with the rental, location, or management. Our experience was in May, and it was exceptional. We plan to be back for future visits. If you are looking for a place to comfortably fit multiple families, dont pass this up. Worth every penny.

A group of 6 adults stayed for a long winter weekend in February. The lodge was everything as described and more. Plenty of sleeping accommodations, great kitchen for cooking, well stocked and large enough for everyone to hang out all weekend. Our hostess, Carole was very helpful in showing us the ins and outs of the lodge. We would definitely recommend this rental and plan to return next winter.
