The dryer did not work at all and no help from the owner. No toaster, kitchen towels or dish rags. Nothing to put items on at night. Staying 10nights was hard when you had to hang your clothes to dry during the nightand day. Also had to use the same towels for 10 days because the dryer didnot work. The air needs recharging as it was always humid and sticky in theapartment. Air was turned to 67 but never really got cool.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at DC charm property. The owner gave awesome check instructions along with additional information to make our stay easy. The only thing we hate was renovation noise above our floor. I had to ask (at 9:30pm) if the individual could please stop working because it was too much noise.

    Washington DC Family Trip

    Reviewed by: Susanna M. on

This home was just as advertised. It?s just perfect for a sight seeing trip to DC. We were 3 adults and we had enough beds. The bus is just down on the corner and the neighborhood hood is so cute and clean. The kitchen is small but has everything you will need for cooking. The only thing that could be added is dish towels. I can?t say enough about how comfortable this apartment is. If we ever go back to DC we will try to stay here again.

    DC Trip

My sisters and I had a wonderful long weekend in DC. The condo, DC Charm, added to the experience. The place was located in a quiet, clean and safe neighborhood. Neighbors were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The condo was clean and charming and met our needs completely. The only negative is that it is not located close to stores or restaurants. We had to Uber to the grocery store and the only food we could find was Papa Jon?s Pizza. If you have your own car then that wouldn?t be a problem for you. One suggestion to the owners. Wine glasses would be nice. Thanks for a wonderful time in our nations capital!

    Great little apartment

    Reviewed by: Alan on

The apartment is well maintained and adequate for three people. Small kitchen, but hands down the highest quality kitchen gear we?ve ever had on vacation. We had everything we needed to prepare or own food and relax during the evenings. Our only quibble would probably be the amount of time it took to get anywhere on public transit, but it seems like most of the city is pretty spread out compared to the transit system. Bus stop at the bottom of the street made it pretty easy to get to and from the apartment.Would definitely stay here again in future.

    Peacefull retreat in DC!

Great little condo in DC. We stayed here for an epic 9 day DC trip with our 9,13, and 16 year old kids. The kids slept on hideaway couches with no problems. I was concerned about only having 1 bathroom but even that worked fine. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances so we had all the comforts of home. That allowed us to not have to eat our every meal for 9 days. The owner was very responsive with answers to questions and was a nice as you could ever ask for. There is a bus stop 3 doors down and 4 more within a couple of blocks so you could go anywhere you need to go quickly. I recommend getting bus and subway info ahead of time so you know where and when to catch the bus. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nicely decorated condo with all the essentials.

The apartment is nicely decorated and has all the basic essentials we needed. We did have some problems with the spare key sets, but the ones in the lock box worked fine. We also couldn?t get the dryer to work , but Sonja sent someone over with some clean towels for us. Overall the apartment is great for 1-3 people. We used Uber drivers for our trip so we didn?t have any problems with parking or getting to and from the city. The condo has two other floors above it and we heard people walking back and forth every morning, but no loud music, TV, or talking.

    Manager's Response:
Terri, we're glad to hear you enjoyed the apartment and had pleasant interactions with the homeowner! While renting in an urban area has its perks such as being close to major landmarks and tourist destinations, it also can be noisier than a rental without the convenience of being in the city. We're confident future guests will enjoy their stay! Best, The Evolve Team

    Perfect business rental

    Reviewed by: Catherine on

I stayed here when visiting DC for business. Every hotel was sold out downtown or extremely expensive! I used uber and never waited long for a car. Parking was competitive so I was glad I did not rent a car. The condo was ultra-clean and everything was new. The master bedroom was outstanding with all new linens and a comfortable bed. There was a bike rental rack nearby so I biked to the Eastern Market which was just over the river and was a great way t spend Sat. morning. I had food delivered here so I did not use the kitchen much but it had everything I needed. Tons of hot water and good water pressure. It felt very polished and fresh! GREAT VALUE!

    Great location!

I stayed with a girlfriend and her son here over the holiday and I loved so many things about the condo. Everything is brand new! We used all 3 beds and the sofa bed in the living room was big and comfortable with a thick mattress. The neighborhood was really quiet as the place is on a small interior street. We cooked in several nights and the kitchen was awesome. I uber-ed all over DC and took the metro which was a lot cheaper than renting a car and always available. The Internet was fast and reliable too. I will return to this condo every time I visit DC.
