  Could not get in touch with the owner. The air conditioning filters needed to be clean and there was electric issues with the house had washer and dryer but unable to use was broken the pictures on the internet did not look like the same house.

  - We use a cleaning service that professionally cleans the home before each guest stay. We will follow up with our cleaning team to further investigate your concerns with the AC filters and replace them if needed.
  - In regard to your concerns with the electricals, we can assure you that the electricals work fine, as in many homes, there is a switch that operates both the oven and microwave outlets as posted, but we're sorry if this caused you any concern.
  - We apologize for any inconvenience, the pump had gone out on the washer prior to your stay. We had placed an order for its replacement, unfortunately, it was on back order and did not arrive for repairs in time for your stay.
  - We take our listing accuracy seriously and use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  Very dirty, lots of bugs, horrible lighting, roof and sink leaks, mold in stove drawer- only good thing was close to beach, shopping, and restaurants

  This is located in the ghetto of galveston. My husband and i watched a large number of drug deals from the back porch. Will not stay here again

  The house needs a lot of work. Front and back porch needs repainted. Can tell the ceiling has had water issues as there are poorly done patches. The sink in the kitchen drains into a bucket. There is no central air and only 2 window units for the hottest day ever in the world. The 2 units could not keep the house at a decent temperature. Oh, and roaches. We killed several. The hot water is scalding. Water pressure was very good. It was clean.

  The nice thing that is was very close to downtown and lots of restaurants.

  Got there and house obviously lacked TLC but we were optimistic. the kitchen sink leaked into the kitchen floor the entire stay. All owner said he’d tell the Plummer. Nobody fixed during our 6 day stay. As my boyfriend was looking for a grill . He found one ( it needs to be trashed) noticed the shower is draining straight under the property. Yes I text the owner so they were aware. Told him it smells like sewer in afternoon from the sitting water. And all he said the sewer line is separate it’s not sewer. I replied. No it’s not sewer but with out door heat it reaks outside from all the sitting water underneath the property and would probably explain the roaches. We did not see any roaches till night time . the house was clean but we came in late from fishing and as my 10 yr old turned on the light she screamed. We ran in and roaches going every direction. When I told the home owner he simply said, “ I know which pipe is the sewer and it’s not the sewer” . He also replied no has complained but me.. this was very rude and unsettling being not one issue was addressed. I’ve never complaint about any rental we have stayed at. Except this one. Not safe neighborhood if you have children. Lots of activity going on around the corner of the house so lock up your vehicles. There is only 2 ac units in the ENTIRE house. Both which are molded and have black mildew in them. Rotten porch wood. Property is not well maintained. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS RENTAL. Total 100% disappointment.

  - We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your stay. We have followed up with a plumber to further investigate your concerns and will make any necessary repairs.
  - We have not had issues with roaches before and have the property treated on a regular basis as a precautionary measure, but will further look into your concern.
  - We're so sorry to hear that you felt the neighborhood was unsafe. External factors like the neighborhood are simply out of our control.
  - The AC units are sufficient to cool the cabin of 800 sqft, we further looked into your concerns and can confirm no mold was found. In addition, after further investigation, the porch wood was found in good condition, with no rotten wood detected.
