If you’re a golfer, you’ll want to bring your clubs to spend a day at Millsite Golf Course! If fishing is more your thing, you’ll be pleased to find that the blue waters of the Millsite Reservoir are right next to the golf course. Here, you can also go boating and walking through the state park that surrounds it.
For an unforgettable sight-seeing experience, make your way to the San Rafael Desert, where you can see the San Rafael Swell, a humongous dome-shaped rock formed by enormous geologic upheavals.
Continue sight-seeing as you hike through scenic trails past sandstone canyons, meadows, lakes, and streams, all the way up to the mountaintops of the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Rent an ATV or bring your own to ride right from the home and into this beautiful forest!

5/5 This is a great little house. Clean and bright. I was traveling with my parents in their 70’s. We drove to the Wedge Overlook and looped through buckhorn wash. Great location in a tiny town.

Cozy Small Town Rental
4/5 The focus of this Mother?s Day Trip was a geocache up by Patter?s Pond which while probably beautiful in summer was under several feet of snow requiring a round trip 20 mile hike. This cozy place in Ferron out us within striking distance earlier morning start time. It was also a wonderful place to come back to in the evening! The beds are super comfortable, there is enough hot water, and the front porch is peaceful. I was told that when the sun rises in Utah, the world goes still for a moment. I think I need to be outside of Ferron (too many barking dogs and roosters) for that to happen. The front porch was comfortable and the mountian view pretty while I was trying to catch the ?witching hour?. The only thing that could have been improved would have been less air fresheners and a tea kettle. The flower arrangements and small plant touches were fun!
