    Beautifully decorated and very welcoming

Everything was new with great kitchen accessories. Basket of iced teas, crackers, chips, chocolate, apples, a bowl of mints and a tray with assorted hot teas. Coffee and sodas also. Very clean with a nice bathroom. For me, the bed was too soft but others may like it. The mattress appeared new but just too cushy for me. Quiet location on a pretty residential street.

The apartment has bed bugs! My husband has been bitten all over his arms, head and back. He woke up Saturday morning and this morning with red spots that itch really bad. We found one on the pillow and inside the pillow case. At this point, we will not be staying here tonight, but going to a hotel room until tomorrow. This is a big inconvenience, but we would rather be safe.

If there is a way to comp us for at least a night for this inconvenience, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Manager's Response:
Portia, we're sorry your experience wasn't what you expected. We can confidently confirm the scenario you encountered will not recur for future guests. The homeowner brought an exterminator to the property to remedy the situation. We hope the generous measures the owner took helped to make up for the inconvenience. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can ensure future guests have five-star experiences. Best, the Evolve Team

It was pretty good stay. Great community not far from downtown at all. Had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and was our home away from home for the weekend. I'll definitely stay there again if in Charlotte.

Wife and I traveled to stay here for a weekend getaway. Very nice and intimate garage apartment. The listing was accurate regarding location and amenities. We had a small problem unlocking the door, but the on-site Manager arrived quickly and helped us. The location is excellent. We were literally around the corner from a lot of downtown restaurants and bars, so it was easy and cheap to Uber to wherever we wanted to go. Neighborhood is completely residential, but very quiet. During the day we saw a lot of people jogging with their pets and kids. I would definitely recommend this place in the future.

    Wonderful place to stay!

really enjoyed staying here while visiting Charlotte. The property was very clean and had everything I needed. The decor was beautiful! Perfect space for two people. The couch was very comfortable and the bathroom was extremely spacious. The only two things that could have been better were that the headboard of the bed was very squeaky, loud and very distracting when moving around while trying to fall asleep and there was only 1 battery in the tv remote so it did not work properly. I had to use the buttons on the tv to change the channels; however, since the tv remote didn't work, I could only access basic channels and not use the other apps on the Roku such as Netflix, etc. Other than that though, it was a wonderful place to stay and I'd highly recommend it!

    Great Location

Location was convenient to downtown as well as close to local neighborhood shopping, restaurants & nightlife. Our guest host Chris was extremely responsive & helpful when we locked ourselves out of the garage ??. Very clean apartment, with fully stocked appliances & dishes etc. Could use some built in shelves in the closet as there isn?t a dresser. I?d suggest adding cable TV & better sound system. Ant & ladybug issues but not nothing Raid can?t handle. Quiet family neighborhood, overall a great place to stay, would definitely rent again the next time we?re in Charlotte if available.

Beautiful property in an awesome neighborhood!

We visited this property after stumbling upon it online. It is just as charming in person as it is in the pictures! The neighborhood where this little apartment is nestled is gorgeous and VERY close to shops and nightlife. (about 1 mile) The property was beautifully kept and I wish we could have stayed longer. The furnishings and decor were beautiful. The owners welcomed us with a booklet full of recommendations (food, drink, etc) and even provided numbers for delivery (if we had stayed in). I would absolutely recommend this Charmer to anyone. If we ever go back to Charlotte, this is where we will stay!

Stayed with my husband for a weekend getaway. The space is nicely tucked in the backyard of a home in a charming neighborhood. Conveniently located, nice finishes, and LADYBUGS (the only acceptable bug to be inside. ??). I enjoyed their company. I would recommend and probably would stay again.

The place looks bigger from the pictures, but OK for two people. No dining room table; just a breakfast counter. There is an issue with ladybugs, but not really a nuisance.
