    Nice Condo, Convenient Location

    Reviewed by: on

Clean, well-kept condo with lots of room for a family of four. Great views of the mountains on off the front deck, and quiet and secluded off the back deck. Well-stocked kitchen, nice sized foyer for shoes and coats, plenty of room in the hall for skis and boots. There are two bus stops (brown and orange) conveniently close. Recommended. The condo is on the 3rd floor. So you walk up 3 sets of stairs. We enjoyed the apartment and the views. It was warm and efficient. We have 4 grown children and all slept in the second bedroom. It was a little crowded for all the ski clothing. The sleeping was great. Count on hearing neighbors walking on the 4th floor. Walls are also thin. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your meals. The oven was not clean. All the utensils and kitchen equipment were clean. They provide all kinds of tThere was dust and loose things under the beds. Pay attention that there is no washer/dryer inside. They are in another building and you have to carry baskets down the 3 flight of stairs and go outside through the snow. We had 2 days of snow storms. So this was difficult for us since we carry minimal amount of clothing on the suitcase and count on the ability to wash clothes. It may not be an issue for you. Communication through Arbnb redirects you to another phone. So you write any issues and get a generic response to call having to repeat the request. Our request was for a light bulb in the second bedroom. We did not hear back about that. The room was very dark without it. However, the neighbors were playing music very loudly for several hours and we called the phone number to have someone ask them to lower it, and the manager solved it. That was great. There is a bus to the slopes every 30 minutes. It stops at 4:30. The road up to the condo was not fully cleared of snow after the storms. We have a van and had to use chains. The check-in process was easy. A key is on a lockchain on the door. It was impersonal. We never spoke to anyone. Instructions did not come through the Arbnb site but a separate email. So I had to ask for instructions again not realizing it. Hope this is useful. We have come to WinterPark for a couple of decades. It is a great place to ski with a family. This cozy apartment helped us make new memories. And we are grateful.

Great place to stay if you’re looking to enjoy some time in Winter Park. Although the fireplace didn’t actually work, the heating warms the place up wonderfully. Outside hot tub was great as well!

The location was perfect - a 10 minute drive tops to Winter Park resort. It was also much larger than it appears in the pictures. The hot tub was a quick dash across the lot to get to from the unit and was great as well. They had plenty of sheets/towels/blankets and many of the kitchen amenities you'd expect. It's very close to food/bars/shopping/rentals and parking was easy at the unit. The room setup worked great for a married couple and 3 grown adults. Definitely a great find in a very convenient location.

The condo is very well laid out and has plenty of room for a family or group of friends. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Winter Park for skiing and less than 5 minutes to get to downtown Fraser where there are loads of places to eat and drink. Great views out of the living room and dining room windows.

Fixtures are a bit outdated, but pretty good proximity to the mountain. Beds were fine. Steam unit in the “steam shower” did not work. The hot tub is in the parking lot. Fireplace is not functional. Fine for what it is, especially if you’re spending most of your time in the mountain, but don’t expect a gorgeous place when you show up.

Family ski trip. Great size with hot tub!

The property was amazing along with the condo! Not too hard to get to, the condo was clean and comfortable with lots of room for the 8 of us adults. We had grandparents, parents, and adult grandkids on the trip. The hot tub is right across from the condo, and there was a front and back patio. Kitchen was also a good size. Sleeping arrangements and the bathrooms were also nice! I?m only giving this place 4 stars instead of 5, because they advertise for up to 8 people, but there were not 8 chairs at the dinner table (there were only 5 if I remember correctly- the picture says 6, but I guess one broke or something because there wasn?t a 6th chair there for us), and the pull out sofa had sheets to go with it, but no comforter. We went to the resale shop to buy a thick comforter for the fold out couch. Also, there are no elevators or lifts or anything for luggage. It took the grandparents a while to get up and was a little challenging but it all worked out. Overall, we really liked this place! I would recommend it!

We had a great time in winter Park and the condo at Timber Run was perfect for our family! The location was so convenient to Main Street and a quick drive to Winter Park for skiing. The bunk bed with the trundle was perfect for our 3 kids and was so cute and comfortable. The king sized bed was also a plus as many places only have queen sized beds. We would definitely come back again!

This is a great unit. It has been updated and the twin / queen bunk beds are excellent. Plus the fold out couch is actually comfortable. Also the condo is very close to the bus line. My only comment is that it would have been helpful if there were some dish towels and trash bags.
