The building is gated which is a plus. Easy to get to the museum district. The house had no wash cloths and limited bath towels, no kitchen towels, the bed spread had crusty stains, the bathroom shower curtain was covered in mold and the tub didn’t drain well. The bathroom was dirty except for the actual toilet. The living room table and furniture covered in dust. I should have called the manager but we didn’t get in until after midnight and the next day we had events. Overall some of the ownership is on me for not calling right away to complain about the cleanliness. In the end we had a place to stay and our trip was good despite the condition of the house.

Very pleased. Really nice apartment. Clean. Everything you need. Good location for getting downtown by car in minutes. Great breakfast place 1 block away...Breakfast Klub...a must! Our only issue was finding our way thru the gate despite instructions. But once we figured it out all was good! Arleen F

I loved the look and feel of the building. I thought it had a mixture of an old school, yet modern vibe. The shower is a bit small and the check-in instructions were a little unclear. Phillip didn't respond to my texts and telephone calls (which was frustrating) prior to check-in, but he responded promptly to an inquiry once we checked in. This is why I rated it a 4 instead of 5. Aside from the construction, I also loved the location. It could use a bit more lighting at night around the entrance though. Again, it was an overall great experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Great location with easy access to museums, restaurants, grocery stores and to the highway. Had everything we needed. Very thorough with check in instructions and directions. Great place to base your stay in Houston.

Everything was well in order on arrival. Cute, quaint, and quiet property with lots of personality. The location is convenient. Go eat at The Breakfast Klub just down Alabama! Only suggestion to owner is to add a few dishtowels and/or a dish drying mat. We couldn?t bring ourselves to run the dishwasher just for the sake of two coffee mugs and water glasses. Will definitely stay here again!!

I was a little worried at first because the buildings immediately surrounding the apartment location are a little run down, and a homeless camp is setup under the highway overpass about 200 yards away. That being said, the location is super convenient for enjoying midtown restaurants and bars. The apartment itself was clean, quaint, and spacious. No complaints there. The gated parking lot/premises is nice for the privacy and a sense of safety. The surrounding area appears to be going through a revival with new houses across the street advertised in the 800s.

We had previously lived in the Houston area and were back in town for a few weeks. Tim?s flat was absolutely perfect. We were close to all our favorite restaurants and shops, and discovered some new treats! Certain issues (weather related) allowed Tim?s true colors to shine through; he truly overextended himself for us and our family. Highly recommend!
