This is an amazing property on the upper Green River outside of Pinedale. For around the price of a motel room in town you can stay right on the Green River and enjoy the beauty of the Wind River Range up close. Pam and Steve are great people and are so welcoming and helpful.

Nice. Large. Clean cabin. Great property owners.

The Lodge was a fantastic and remote adventure for our family trip over the July 4th vacation near the Green River headwaters and the Wind River mountains. The cabin is no more than a couple hundred yards from the Green River, and there is tons of great hiking in the area. Close enough to both Pinedale (30 min) and Jackson (75 min or so). Sofee the dog will greet you as you arrive (or kids still talk about Sofee constantly), and we definitely recommend the location.

The location is remote, so if you need anything stop in Pinedale for food/drinks/etc. Their dog, Sofee is the friendliest and willing to tag along on walks. Noise does travel up from the living room area in to the loft, as it is an fairly open floor plan.

Great out of the way cabin. 4 min from the entrance to the east part of the bridger-teton forest. There are dozens of ponds, lakes and rivers to fish and hike at all within a few minutes drive. There are only 2 places to eat near by and it is out of the way so bring food before arriving. But there is a full kitchen (fridge, oven, stove, etc). An upstairs bunk for kids and a wood furnace that keeps the place comfy. The owners are very helpful with things to do in the area. There is a TV and wifi at the cabin, but most of the area has no internet and limited cell. This place is really perfect for getting away.

The scenery is amazing at the "cabin" - which is a structure that has two units, with a garage in the middle. The owners live on site in a beautiful home about a hundred yards away, and they were so nice and friendly. We knew going in that they lived onsite, so we were prepared for that, but for those who don't like that, you should know it up front. They are on a working ranch, and are very actively out and about, so you'll run into someone pretty often, which was okay with us. They have a sweet dog, Sophie, who kept us company on several fishing excursions, and loved to play. The "cabin" is comfy - we only had a couple of minor inconveniences. One we knew about going in, that there was no double/queen or king sized bed, which is a little odd. We solved this by placing two mattresses on the floor in front of the fireplace side by side. It worked okay, but the mattresses are VERY firm, and by the end of our short stay, we were incredibly sore. The other which was really just an inconvenience, is that there was limited storage. There was no dressers or drawers of any sort, so you lived out of a suitcase. There were tons of hooks to hang things on, which were handy. Everything was in working order, and the unit was very clean, had really cold and really hot water. The owners provided tons of helpful information on where to eat, what to sight see, and since we were there land hunting, even who to talk with regarding that. The unit is within walking distance to the Green River, and we spent several of our days fly fishing, with an easy walk back for lunch or a break. Overall, a very nice visit and very relaxing. Thank you for sharing your cabin.

Pam and Steve are extraordinarily warm and wonderful people -- meeting and speaking with them was a huge pleasure....Our family of four was very comfortable in their annex, which included super-comfy leather couches, a stunningly huge elk head high on the wall, and plentiful fast Wifi. The kitchen was very well stocked, the view outside was "big sky," and the location was wonderful for amazing hikes at Green River Lakes. A treat all around....
