    -- THE PROPERTY --

Master Bedroom (Ober Suite): Queen Bed | Bedroom 2 (Swiss Ranger Room): King Bed | Bedroom 3 (Bunk Room): Twin-over-Twin Bunk Bed, Queen Bed | Loft (Scout Tent): Queen Bed

Knotty pine vaulted ceilings catch your eye as you enter the cabin which features a wall of windows that allow light to pour into the open living space. Put your favorite show on the flat-screen cable TV that has over 100 HD channels, or curl up on the sectional leather sofa with a great book.

Listen to the soothing crackling of the wood-burning fireplace as you keep the cook company at the kitchen island with seating for 2. Everything you'll need to cook tasty meals at home can be found in the fully equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, knotty wood cabinets, and quartz countertops. Gather around the wood dining table set for 8 for a savory meal.

Rack 'em up in the loft area which features a pool table and a “free play” multi-game arcade machine offering Galaga, Donkey Kong, Pacman, Dig Dug, and more fun games. Make plans for the day on the deck as you recline on the Adirondack chairs or gather around the picnic table. Rejuvenate your muscles after a full day of outdoor fun in the private hot tub.

Retreat to the Ober Suite which features a queen-sized bed, a flat-screen TV with Roku, an en-suite bathroom, and a private balcony. Climb under the covers of the king-sized bed in the Swiss Ranger Room, which also features a flat-screen TV with Roku and DVD player. Those sharing the Bunk Room will enjoy a built-in twin-over-twin bunk bed, queen-sized bed, and a flat-screen TV with Roku and DVD player. Additional sleeping can be found in the loft where there is a scout tent with a queen bed.

    -- THE LOCATION --

The cabin is conveniently close to all of the major attractions visitors come to Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg for, yet situated in a 'park like' setting, so it still feels very secluded and private.

Just 5-minutes from the property is Dollywood, one of the world's premier theme parks. With more than 40 rides, 15 shows, a water park, and gourmet dining, everyone will find something fun to do. Dollywood is so close that you can hear the park's choo-choo train from the property!

Get your thrills when you visit Foxfire Mountain Adventure Park featuring zip line tours, ATV tours, America's longest swinging bridge, cider tours, a climbing wall, and a ropes course. Go deep underground when you check out Forbidden Caverns, a cave system comprised of over 8,350 caves in which visitors can see sparkling formations, natural chimneys, and a crystal clear stream.

Take the kids to the Deer Farm Zoo where they can get up close and personal to elk, baby goats, camels, zebra, emu, and more. Children will also be delighted with a pony ride while older kids and adults can ride a fully grown horse.

While you're in Pigeon Forge, stop by the Titanic Museum where you can experience what it was like on the grand ship, see over 400 artifacts, and even dip your hand in 28-degree water.

Venture deep into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park where you can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, and more with tremendous views of waterfalls, wildflowers and more.

The views were gorgeous. The cabin was very nice and warm and toasty. It was just a short distance from everything we wanted to do. The kids loved the tent and bunk beds. It was just right for us. We would definitely stay there again. The only fault we found was the driveway leading to the cabin was quite bumpy, especially if you are in a car. If you are in a truck, it was not so bad.

    Comfy, Clean, Beautiful!

    Reviewed by: Alysa D. on

What a gem of a cabin! We stayed here with our two dogs during the second week of November. The drive up the mountain was easy with the roads being paved and finding the location of the cabin was not an issue. The GPS pin pointed us at our destination, which was nothing- but you have to actually drive up a little further to find the driveway- sounds confusing but it wasn't hard to find. Cleanliness was a TOP priority when booking our cabin vacation. The previous reviews were extremely helpful and accurate- this place is clean!! We only used the King sized bed downstairs and it was SUPER comfortable but the other beds seemed like they would be comfortable too. The layout is spacious and accommodating. But what will make you not want to leave this cabin is the view. You can enjoy it best from the sitting room inside the house which provides a floor to ceiling view of the mountains or seating outside by the fire pit. We spent a lot of time just sitting and looking at the mountains. It snowed for just one day so that provided us with a picturesque, beautifully magical, fresh fallen snow day. Although we mainly stayed in the cabin, we drove around town a little, had lunch at Blue Moose (very good) and also ate at Holston's, which was delicious and the service was excellent. There is really nothing negative we have to say about this property. We lost some power at one point but I called the property management company and they had someone come out within minutes, it ended up being a breaker issue so nothing serious. The gentleman who came out was very nice also. We wish there were more trails located right where the cabin is to easily take the dogs for a walk. But we did walk down the hill away from the main road where there is currently a home under construction. There is some traffic noise which is easily heard when outside. We would have loved to cozy up by the fireplace but the location of it inside the home doesn't really allow you to do that because the dining room table is in front of it. But we hung out there playing scrabble and doing puzzles. Overall great cabin!

Really enjoyed the property. Grandson loved the firepit, hot tub and bunkbeds. The kitchen has everything one would need, but bring a sponge, extra trash bags, and dishwasher tablets. We used grill each day and it was a nice grill. Also be aware, traffic is two way on street to driveway. Park in upper driveway, first driveway you come to on left. View is amazing!! Bamboo flooring throughout house. Just be aware less agile people will have difficulty on stairs going to upper bedroom and using bathroom there, but the downstairs area is perfect for everyone. Would rent again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Camp Run A Muk. It's a beautiful cabin and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. They allowed us to bring our pit bull which is a rarity and greatly appreciated. My only complaint were the potholes in the driveway. They were pretty bad and we couldn't figure out how to get the hot tub to go over 96 degrees but those two things weren't bad enough to lower my rating. I would definitely stay there again. Also, the company was very easy to work with.

I loved the property, it was a picturesque location. The cabin was very homey & had plenty of kitchen equipment. There were also a large selection of family games. The tent bed/game room were a big hit with the kids. However, the chimney needs to be cleaned. We couldn?t use the fireplace for more than 45 minutes before the cabin filled with the smoke alarms going off. I called the maintenance company because there are 4 vents for chimney fans we couldn?t find the switch for. They verified the damper was open & it was. They also couldn?t figure out how to turn the chimney fans on. I loved being with my family we had fun. I feel a HUGE part of the cabin experience is a fire burning in a fireplace. So not having that was a disappointment.

    Manager's Response:
Jean, we're glad you had a great stay overall! The homeowner would like to pass along the following message:

"I'm sorry you had trouble with the fireplace. We had the fireplace cleaned in May 2018. Due to your review, I had the chimney sweep return and inspected. They didn't find any concerns. The fans you mentioned were initially installed to circulate air around the outside of firebox to make the fireplace more efficient. However, these fans are unrelated to how the chimney drafts and they have been disconnected. I am updating the welcome book to provide more information on the fireplace. Thank you for your review, and I hope you otherwise had a memorable stay."

We had a great time hear at Camp Runamuk. The cabin is beautifully decorated and was exceptionally clean especially for being pet friendly. The kitchen was well appointed as I am a cook and prepared several meals while we were there. Beds are super cozy and comfy too. The driveway getting in was extremely rough and needed grading. There could of been some storms before our arrival that washed some of it out. Also the bathroom situation was difficult to manipulate. We weren't able to take advantage of the hot tub or the fire pit due to weather, definitely next time. The full bath upstairs in the master bedroom was hardly accessible to anyone that had trouble with the extremely narrow stairwell. The water pressure was slim to none. Then there was the full bath downstairs which was also the common bathroom for the whole house. We made it work with 7 adults and a toddler. Regardless of those things, not worthy of losing a star over, Camp Runamuk is by far the best rental I've ever had and I hope to go back and enjoy the beautiful Smokies in the summertime.

Cades cove is a must while you are here - we saw so much wildlife up close & personal including a bear in a tree! Facilities are good (especially the hot hub) but make sure you stock up on essentials as very little is provided (I.E. no washing powder for the laundry). Fabulous cabin themed unit that was precious, modern, and comfortable. We loved our stay here. The decor was far better than what you typically see at rentals and my daughters now want to redo their rooms to look like the room they had at “camp.” The beds and couch were all terrific and the Nest kept the unit at a stable temperature. The view from the glass patio was our favorite place in the morning and to watch sunsets. You can see the fireworks between the trees are dollywood. The kids room and the loft were fantastic for our kids. The location was perfect being close to Pigeon Forge yet far enough away from any noise or congestion. My only issue was that the house is completely cleaned out between guests (this is a good thing) but that includes all extra cooking supplies (oil, spices, tin foil, bags etc) and check out instructions stated not to leave anything behind. It would have been nice to not have to buy all of the basics and then it was such a waste to have to throw away things that were only used a few days. The hot tub was fabulous and we loved having it. There werent any extra towels though so we had to share towels for shower and hot tub since there wasn’t enough time to wash between hot tub a shower. All in all it was a perfect trip but when we return, we will bring some pantry basics and extra towels!

Very nice place with plenty of space for the 6 of us! Nicely decorated, clean, private, close to everything and great views! There is a small all weather room with full size windows you can just sit, read or relax and view nature. Would stay there again for sure!

Every detail - from the books on the shelves, the lighting in the canoe and bunk beds and tent, the old school video game (that still WORKS!!), the 50000 blankets, the campfire, the teepee, the pictures and maps on the walls, the hot tub, the bear crossing sign on the drive up, the VIEWS, the bunk bed curtains, the soft pillows - everything was perfect. Wanted to stay forever.

the cabin was awesome! very secluded , quiet, with great views. the hot tube was fantastic & private. the sitting room with the floor to ceiling windows was incredible to just chill out & relax. the fire pit was nice-roast marshmellows & listen to the whiporwills sing at nite. ignore the " no cabins" sign on the pole as you start up the hill on stinnett rd. had a great stay, will for sure be coming back. p.s. we took our westie (dog) & had plenty of room inside & outside for him. cabin is well stocked i.e. xtra linens , blankets & kitchen supplies.

    Great Experience , Perfect Getaway

The Cabin was very open and accommodating ! Very clean and updated , but has rustic charm and character . The views are amazing from every angle ! This cabin offers everything you need for a family getaway and includes all the comforts of home ! Plenty of sleeping areas , comfy beds , a large dining table and large comfy sectional couch , the entire family can be together . Loved the pool table , hot tub and arcade game ! The pictures on the website do not do this cabin justice ! The upgrades are beautiful ! Our expectations were exceeded upon arrival ! I loved the little added touches to Camp Runamuk , the vintage photos , books and the canoe light hanging over the dining room table that was made from an actual canoe. For families with children the Tee-Pee by the fire pit is an added bonus as well as the tent bed on the top level of the cabin . You will not be disappointed ted , I promise ! This cabin offers seclusion , but is not far from Pigeon Forge and all the excitement and entertainment that the Smokies has to offer ! My family loved our stay .

Great Cabin with Awesome Mountain Views

I brought my wife, son, and mother up for a weekend in the mountains and for a visit to Dollywood. We really loved everything about the cabin. It was clean, roomy, and had plenty of things to do during our downtime. Unfortunately we were unable to use the fire pit due to the weather, but the views were amazing. My son loved having the pool table and arcade game to play. The cabin was comfortable and homey. We will definitely rent this cabin again on our next visit to Pigeon Forge...

Best vacation property we've had in SIEVERVILLE! Loved it!

We were so happy to have our dogs with us on this trip, weren't sure what to expect. Our expectations were superceded! We loved our place and the property. The view from our kitchen table was excellent! The view from our jacuzzi was gorgeous! Whether you want to see mountains or woods, loved it! Dogs could run off lead, we felt perfectly at home! My husband and I could sit in the yard and look at those mountains with hawks flying forever. And we had a bear walk right up the drive way! Gave my daughter a good chill, 1st bear we've ever encountered or even seen on our rental property. couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot, this was my favorite trip to the Smokies!
