    Parents Weekend in Knoxville

    Reviewed by: Montie S. on

I hesitate to write this review because I'd like to keep this charming gem a secret. But, I guess that's not fair to the other travelers out there. This apartment is not only in the perfect location, but it is clean, spacious and very comfortable. I really felt at home and my husband even asked how soon we could rent it again. Lisa, the rental agent, was very accommodating - even when I accidentally locked myself out and she had to let me back in. I highly recommend this apartment - just don't rent it when my family is in town :)

Great location on the square. Pretty apartment. Owner left refrigerator full of water, soft drinks and beer. Also let snacks. It was appreciated. The only down side is the noise and light. Right on the square so you hear people setting up weekend market from 1 to 3 am. Also no shades or drapes so bedroom is very light. The location out weighed it

Well appointed condo in downtown Knoxsville

    Reviewed by: Glen Y. on

Condo was beutifully furnished and stocked. Located litteraly right across the street is Tupelo Honey and the rest of Market Square attractions. Very convienient once your on foot. Only negatives, and may not be negatives for everyone: 1. No convienient parking to unload. Half the parking on the street at main entrance of building are reserved for commercial vehicles till 6pm and all the other metered spots across street were allways full. We had a family of 4 so had a lot of stuff to carry 3 blocks from parking garage. A luggage cart would be a nice offering. 2. Downtown Knoxsville is noisy. Firetrucks were heard roaring through downtown all hours of the night and city workers were cleaning up the park across the street at 6am to get ready for the Farmers Market. The condo has those beutiful old looking wooden windows with upper and lower sashes, so outside noises are not muffled. Recommend noise machines and ear plugs if sleep is an important part of your stay.

A very nice loft in the heart of Knoxville's entertainment & arts district. Walkable to many restaurants, bars, music venues, museums, galleries, shops, etc. Great free public transportation on the trolley. Well appointed, with essentials and nice extras, like beer, wine, and other beverages in the fridge, as well as bags of cookies in the freezer. Check-in/check-out is a breeze as door and elevator are key coded, so no need to wait for contact. Overall a great place to stay in Knoxville.

Great 2 bedroom apt on market square

    Reviewed by: John/Teresa B. on

This is a GREAT place. Loved it. this place is LARGE! This place is PRIVATE! This place is SAFE! This is an older building, but don't let that scare you away. It has been professionally rehabbed. High ceilings, central heat and air, new LARGE windows. It, I think, is meant to be a bit rustic, but it is spectacular in every way. It does have older wooden floors that are somewhat covered by large area rugs...but everything is "new" ....two bedroom, two bath, one ensuite. The common living room/kitchen/dining room is a GREAT room. The two bedrooms are far enough away from each other to have privacy. There are three things you need to know about this apartment....location, location, location. We usually go to east town or turkey creek for shopping and food, but market square and the old downtown is the place to be. The area has a mix of younger and older people, rich and poor. Mannnnny years ago this area may not have been the best, but it is growing, very popular with young and old alike, and very safe. There is always a police presence, and the stores are staffed with friendly personnel. Food! yes! market square has it all. Just a short walk away, less than a block, I think, is an old general store, and an upscale moviehouse. Gelado, sushi, burgers, crepes, whatever you want, you can find it in this area. On street parking will be a problem on the weekend, but there is a free (on the weekend) parking garage less than 2 blocks away. The gps sent us down the wrong street....but it only took us a second to get our bearings. You need to go down market street, one way, and the private, coded entry is on market street, between a clothing store and a bank. We will be back! Great place. Book it now.

Stayed in this lovely loft for a game weekend. Literally parked my car in a free lot on Friday and didn't use it until leaving on Sunday. We were right on Market Square and woke up Saturday morning to the farmers market and a choice of restaurants for breakfast. The loft is comfortable and stocked with drinks and snacks. A great find! You can watch the activity from your windows, but it's quiet inside. Will stay again!
