We had stayed at Asolare a few years ago and had a good experience. Unfortunately that wasn't the case this time. There were issues from the moment we arrived. Pool pump was broken (this was the only thing which was fixed before we left!), several lights not working, kitchen cabinets broken and hanging on by 1hinge. However, the biggest disappointment for our adult sons and grandchildren was the fact we had NO TV or WiFi service for the entire time we stayed here! We reported this immediately but not able to have a tech come. We felt this should have been addressed prior to our arrival. When it finally wasn't repaired by College football Saturday my husband drove to a hardware store and paid $50 to get an antenna so the guys could watch the games. Not to be completely negative, the home was spacious, the kids enjoyed the pool table in the basement and the tennis courts outside. Unless there are improvements made to this home we will NOT be renting this again and would recommend anyone looking to book it...request that these things be checked prior to your stay.

    Manager's Response:
Jane, it's great to hear your family enjoyed most of your stay, but we are sorry certain aspects didn't meet your expectations this time. We understand the homeowners were kind enough to allow your family to check-in early without any charge. Once the issues you mentioned were reported, they sent maintenance to the house to remedy this issues you encountered. The homeowners also called the pool guy about the outage of the pump and he fixed it within a couple of hours. While cable outages are out of anyone's control, they did generously arrange for a complimentary late check-out. While Comcast tried to fix the issue over the phone, we regret that it was not able to be fixed during your stay. The homeowners do all they can to ensure guests have the optimal stay, and we look forward to Asolare continuing to provide memories for guests who come to visit. Thank you for your feedback. Best, the Evolve Team

This was a beautiful space for hosting our ladies weekend getaway. It is in a great location that was perfect for what we were looking for (wine tasting, with a quiet neighborhood to return to). There were some issues with cleanliness of the home, though I do believe these could be resolved with just a little TLC. It is also worth noting that the heated pool is not very warm, just to have a heads up on expectations. Overall, I am still very glad that we stayed here. There was plenty of space for the 12 of us, and it is a great house for hosting a small get-together.

Perfect getaway for Family & Friends

We thoroughly enjoyed this home with 7 adults, one toddler and one dog. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well furnished and the grill is great. There are lots of towels, beach towels, noodles, beach chairs and many other amenities. We loved the pool and the large screened in porch. We never made it to the bottom level gameroom which looked nice. It's a quick walk to Gordon Beach which is very nice and easily accessible for all ages (we were age 2-88). The tennis court was a great place for our two year old to run around on. We had an issue upon check in but it was quickly resolved so I kept the rating 5 star. Stephanie and her cleaning crew are awesome!! We ate all our meals at the house and enjoyed the screened porch for comfortable eating. There's a small, nearby grocery store within walking distance if you forget something. We loved the area and everyone wants to return!

We had a ladies weekend in Union Pier and enjoyed having the pool especially with the stormy weather! House had plenty of room for all 12 of us. And plenty of bathrooms so we could get ready for going out In the evening! Parking is great and we definitely want to come back when the weather is nicer to enjoy the yard and tennis?s court.

I loved this home! My guests and I had a wonderful girls weekend here! The pool was amazing, as well as the sauna! It was rainy so we did not use the fire pit or the tennis court. Everything was very nice and very clean. Very spacious! Plenty of towels & linen! Also very happy to see extra chairs and tennis equipment were available. Nothing was lacking and the host was very responsive to questions theoughout the weekend. Small things that did not impact our fun: We were never able to connect the stereo system; however, the host really tried with emails, texts, & phone calls. The directions in the drawer do not correspond with the current system. Also, each letout sofa has a different twist - we figured it out, but a direction card would be nice. And the first bedroom left of the door has a double bed and a trundle pull out to make a second bed (not 3 beds as listed). I can truly say this was my best Airbnb rental ever! And we are planning to return here!

We had not hot water for the weekend. Several people were able to take Luke warm showers Saturday. We thought we would have hot water when we returned at 4 pm but found absolutely no hot water. Someone came out at 7pm to find the water heater needed replacing. So no hot water for the entire weekend. Also had electrical issues on and off all weekend.

    Manager's Response:
Mary, we're sorry to hear your stay wasn't what you expected. We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to make things right but regret that the hot water heater broke during your stay. We hope the prompt attention from the local maintenance and generous measures taken by the homeowner have helped to alleviate some of the frustrations. The local maintenance contact informed us that this house has been routinely serviced to ensure it is guest ready for the past three years since the homeowners bought this house. Please know that the necessary actions have been taken to prevent the issues you've experienced so future guests can fully enjoy their stay. Best, The Evolve Team

The house was very clean and well taken care of. Everyone complimented how well they slept due to the comfort of the beds. The Guest contact, Rasa Mitkus responded to inquiries within minutes after calling or texting her. I will definitely be back this summer...I absolutely loved this home.

Great house for a group gathering. The pool is in the center of it all. The overall layout of the house was perfect for our girls getaway. It doesn’t have top of the line finishes but if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable space to relax and entertain a group this is a perfect house. A lot of charm. I wish the weather were nicer so we could of enjoyed the outdoor screened in porch and tennis court. I’d stay in this house again!
