Quaint getaway on a beautiful farm with cows mooing in the distance. Rocking chairs on the porch were the main draw for us.

I had high hopes for this place based on reviews of other guests. i was disappointed: no mention of the dusty dirt road that you take to property--vehicle and boat covered in dust; the address on property description is not correct---so, our "map" on phone could not get us to it exactly; I called the contact number listed and it went to voicemail; we finally made our way there by ignoring address number and turning into a property and recognizing the building from listing. I paid a cleaning fee but found the coffee maker/cups were not clean for us to use without washing first. Reviews had mentioned ducks on property and fishing pond--no ducks and the grass was tall enough to obscure any view of a pond. We didn't venture through tall grass to avoid the chance of getting chiggers. Positive comments for beautiful sunset and quiet, peaceful night. We decided to leave before our second night. I really wished I had known about the dirt road cause it kinda bothered my husband about the amount of dirt settled on the boat and vehicle. But, we made it out to Lake Somerville and had a good day.

Gorgeous property & scenery. Quiet & relaxing. We fished all weekend in the two ponds and loved it! This is the perfect little get away!

We enjoyed our stay. The studio was charming, clean and quiet. It was wonderful to sit outside on the porch in the evening and listen to the frogs.

We enjoyed our stay in the studio. I actually sat in the rocker pictured and relished the quiet! There was a gaggle of geese that stopped by to check us out, they didnt stay long. We were here on Thanksgiving day and thru Saturday so we found that small towns don't have the Black Friday hussle!! Looking forward to another visit sometime in the not to distant future!
