Very clean, love love the location... very well kept! So much to walk around and look at just at the cabin! We spent more time relaxing on the back porch in the rocking chairs then we did wandering around town.. Highly recommend this little gem in the woods!

This is one of those cases when pictures do not do justice (in a positive way). The cabin was very clean. Kitchen well organized and equipped. The mini split AC system was a bit tricky to manage, which was not a big deal at all. Gigi, the owner, called us the second day we arrived. Due to a big storm, the lights went out. Frankly, it was kind of charming even with the lights out. Bathrooms were modern and large. It was great having two separate bathrooms. The outdoors are just beautiful. We spent some great time at the river property. Just make sure you have bug spray. Lack of a grocery store in Hot Springs was a bummer. On the other side though, the mineral baths were very relaxing. Overall awesome experience. We'll be back.

I have to start with a big nod to the host, Ge Ge. The cabin was all ready for our arrival and we can say that we didn't lack anything in the kitchen or the rest of the cabin. We came this way to get away from the daily grind. This spot is about as peaceful as you can get. Phone coverage was even spotty! The weather was not too terrible, a little rain, but nothing that dampened our spirits. I doubt we'll come back this way as we like to go see various places, but would definitely recommend it for others.

The five of us were very comfortable, though at first the upstairs bedroom was a bit chilly. The kitchen is well supplied, and it's great having two bathrooms both upstairs and down. Also great having washer and dryer.

The house was perfect for my wife, myself and our dog. Clean cozy house with a great kitchen to cook in every night. Great location with only 1 house near by and right next to the river. Great walking location with the dog and only a quick drive into town for some lunch. Perfect getaway spot and look forward to going back.

Rest, heal and wander at Paint Rock Cabin

    Reviewed by: Tamera C. on

My family and I arrived late at night and we were unable to see the beauty that surrounds Paint Rock Cabin. We had driven the mountain roads from Florida and could hear the rushing water from the river and knew that we were about to experience a very special place. The next morning after sleeping in cozy flannel sheets, I awoke to the sun rising through the beautiful trees and my son returning from an early mountain hike with one of our dogs. For the next couple of days we drove, hiked and photographed stunning mountains, trees, rivers, creeks, rocks and falling leaves. Beautiful sunrises with hot morning coffee on the deck were followed by outdoor fires under star lit skies. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to rest, heal and wander at Paint Rock Cabin!

First. Let me start by saying WOW!!! What a beautiful place that is nestled in the mountains that makes you feel as though you are mikes away from everything..but in all reality your not. This magical cabin makes you feel warm and welcome from the moment you step inside. The sounds of nature and the peaceful sound of the river is all you can hear in the background. This wonderful getaway is stocked full of all the things you will need for your getaway. It feels as though you are home and where you are meant to be. My family and I enjoyed our stay so much and we will definitely be back in June to stay for 7 or 8 days. We hope you don't mind that we added another seating area around your fire pit out of the logs that you had and made a place that the fire wood can be stored!! Thank you both so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. You will be hearing from me again very soon!!! Thanks again, The Eldridges!
