Great place for old guys college hiking reunion

    Reviewed by: Gary S. on

Wildwood was a wonderful place for we four old guys to hang out, cook, hot tub, and relax between day hikes. Fine sleeping accommodations, easy to use kitchen and gas bbq - all just right for our needs. Close to the part entrance was the main selling point before arrival - everything else was an additional bonus. We also enjoyed BaseCamp pizza and beer after hiking.

    Spacious cabin near Rainier entrance

The cabin was great. It?s is exactly as described in the listening with accurate photos. The kitchen is well stocked. Decor is great (my 7 y/o couldn?t stop giggling at things the night we arrived, she was just tickled by the place). 3 good sized bedrooms, large common room, two bathrooms were adequate and the outdoor area was relaxing. If I come back with my family, I?d rent again.

Very comfortable, cozy house close to the park.

    Reviewed by: Yumi I. on

It was a very comfortable, well-maintained, cozy house for our party of six adults, two to each of the three bedrooms. The kitchen was well-equipped that we enjoyed dining in a couple of nights. Before the trip, we were provided with very good information about the house that we had no trouble finding it or knowing what to do once we got there. Once we got there, we found even more helpful information about the surroundings and the activities in the area. It was also very easy to get to the national park entrance from the house. If you plan to cook, I suggest you shop before you get to Ashford since the couple of "grocery stores" there are very small with very limited selections, especially in fresh produce.

    Had a great stay

The property was well maintained and had everything we (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 1 child) needed. Had a very comfortable stay. The owners were very kind and provided all kind of supplies. We only have one negative point. We did the recommended trail in the (huge) backyard. We walked this during dusk and stambled upon an abonded car with a shovel and a jerrycan of gasoline. This was just a little bit too much like every horror movie we ever saw.... But this probably is just our city slicker imagination talking. We really dit enjoy our stay and recomment this cabin for everybody.

This house was great - very comfortable - cozy and homey. Fully supplied kitchen, great location, beautiful backyard. The hot tub was a little overly chlorinated the first night, but after the first use it aired out and was great the second night. We had an issue with no hot water in one of the bathrooms which was quickly fixed by the owners while we were out on the mountain. We appreciated how helpful the owners were. Highly recommend and would come back again!

It was great. We will be back. Next time we will use the hot tub.

We chose this cabin as a last minute change of plans when our original cabin booking was canceled due to broken pipe issues. This cabin is exactly as its advertised, a lovely older cabin, beautiful wood floors/finish everywhere. The kitchen was much better stocked with cooking supplies than expected (from other experiences) so that was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Wildwood. We enjoyed having breakfast out on the deck each morning. We also enjoyed things such as the nice, plush towels for the bathrooms and the large, well equipped kitchen, along with little (but helpful) extras such as luggage racks in the bedrooms. We all agreed that Wildwood was better than two other rental homes where we had stayed in some previous years.
