This home is fantastic for so many reasons, where to start?! The kitchen is well stocked and equipped to create a great cooking experience. The home is extremely clean, which is very impressive considering how large it is. And the home’s location is awesome! The grounds are just as awesome as the house itself, with a creek running right through the property. I highly recommend renting this home.

The place was wonderful! Great attention has been paid to ensuring guests are comfortable. The stream running through the yard was such a great feature. The home is secluded yet easily accessible. Our two boys (ages 8 & 10) had fun exploring and playing ping pong! The multiple patios allowed for finding the perfect spot anytime of day. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning!

We had the most relaxing, comfortable stay we have ever had at a rental property.
The house is outstanding with everything you could want to enjoy your stay. Need a clothes steamer? They have it. Need a vitamix blender? They have it. Every kitchen appliance, games, movies, tons of blankets, comfortable beds, steam shower, exercise room with an awesome view. I just cannot say enough about this property. I should mention there are really 5 bedrooms as there is a queen bed in a wine alcove although no closet. Evergreen has hiking trails, good restaurants, elk wandering the golf course, and a pretty lake.
We stayed mostly at the house and watched a red fox visit the island, made smores, and drank coffee on the deck watching the hummingbirds. Kim and Kyel were wonderful hosts and responded to all our questions.

    The Best Ever!

    Reviewed by: Ann on

We were two families with three teenagers and booked this property in August. We have stayed at over 25 VBRO type houses in several countries and this was the most lovely, best stocked, most amazing of them all. First Kim, the owner was a joy to work with and answered all questions/emails quickly. She even mailed my son's retainer back that we left at the house.
Secondly, the house was so luxurious and had tons of blankets, great gadgets, nicer appliances than I have at home, plenty of games, movies, (we never turned on the TV) a fire pit for smores (they had everything there for us already!) a gorgeous deck with a fire pit, a steam shower, an amazing exercise room,). A nice bottle of wine and note were awaiting us at our arrival. I just can't say enough about this house.
The area is lovely and we hiked, visited the lake, slept in the hammock, played cards, sat on the deck wrapped in blankets and drank coffee or wine (depending on the time!). Usually I am sort of ready to get back home after a vacation, but we all agreed we wished we could have stayed longer. The house just has a sense of comfort and peace about it.

We were two families with married adult children, and a couple of teenagers wanting to attend a concert at the Red Rocks amphitheatre. We arrived from different cities and got to stay in this stunning home. It is beautiful, spacious and comfortable with every possible convenience. (We couldn?t get over how well the kitchen was stocked.) There was a volleyball net, a bean bag game, an outside fire pit, movies, books, etc which kept everyone entertained and happy. We visited Golden, Boulder, went hiking and shopping, and attended the concert, but each day there was great interest in getting back to the house. In part, so we could all hang out together and in part because it is in such a gorgeous setting with so many diversions. The stream running through the property is beautiful and we enjoyed opening the patio doors to hear the water. We remember our time here as being a huge part of the success of the holiday.

Beautiful and Comfortable Home for our Reunion

A group of 10 friends gathered here for a reunion, and we had a fabulous time. The property is every bit as beautiful as shown in the pictures, at least it was during the early fall when we visited. The home is very spacious and our large group was very comfortable there. We enjoyed hiking in the nearby parks, wine tasting, and eating out at a local restaurant one night. We also made several large meals in the kitchen, and found it equipped well enough to do so. The steam shower downstairs was a fun surprise! The only word of warning I would share to other potential visitors is that the internet service provided by the WiFi was very slow, and was, for us at least, mostly useless. Considering cellular service is also not available in the mountains we did find ourselves largely cut-off.

We spent the weekend at this home with 3 other families, we all had small children. Every family had plenty of room to retreat to and the living spaces were also huge with plenty of space for everyone. The river flow was higher than expected so we had to keep a close eye on the littles outside but it was beautiful. The house was almost TOO nice for us with toddlers- we had to keep a very close eye on them to make sure the nice decorations stayed nice. Bachelorette Mansion Retreat

    Reviewed by: Patty S. on

12 girls traveled to the mountains for a relaxing bachelorette get away mother's day weekend. It was delightful and exceeded my already high expectations. At one point, while sipping mimosas on the deck, I looked out to see a couple of my friends playing bad-mitten in the front lawn, another few friends sitting on the bridge dangling their feet in the cool mountain creek, and another few friends sunbathing on deck chairs. The thought crossed all of our minds at one point or another that we were on an episode of the Bachelor! It was magical from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The house was even better than the pictures, if you can believe that. Easy access to town (both Evergreen and Denver) and Red Rocks Amphitheater while still being out in the mountains. There was room for everyone to sleep comfortably. We cooked in the kitchen easily (all utensils and cookware provided) and ate as a big group of friends at the dining room (plenty of room for 12). Kim and Kyel had a guide book for the area written up and responded by email to any little questions we had (e.g., Best place for drinks and lunch? The winery or brewery. Best place to go for a hike - the falls or Three Sisters.) Leaving was just as easy! Often times with a rental like this you end up being required to do laundry and vacuum and do all the things you have to do at home, but Kim assured us to just pick up after ourselves and their cleaning service would do the rest! What a treat. There is also a spa very close by (Tall Grass Aveda Salon & Spa) - I would recommend making a booking in advance so that you don't miss out on a mani-pedi or massage while you are there because they fill up fast.

When we arrived to our home for the weekend, ours jaws dropped. It was absolutely breath-taking and a very natural scenic location. There were elk right in front of our eyes when we were driving in. Kim did an outstanding job making the house as welcoming as possible. Everything we needed was available, and we were in awe of every room in the house. The house was nice and cozy and had the most amazing mountain views!!! Kim went above and beyond for us even while we were there, as she would call to ensure we knew where things were and for help/questions if needed. Our group of friends all loved the house, and we will never forget it the memories there!!

Excited to visit but never wanted to leave.

The setting of this beautiful home is nestled within the hills of Evergreen, CO, which provides privacy and allows for a plethora of outdoor recreational activities. My family and I enjoyed hikes up nearby mountain peaks, activities in the side yard suitable to host a family whiffle ball games or retiring inside for a friendly ping-pong competition. A number of board games were also available for use and when friendly competition gave way to relaxing down time you can enjoying the fire pit that is within a few feet of the creak that rolls through the property site or watching the wildlife which paraded through the property routinely during our stay (deer, foxes). The home also has an exercise gym, sauna, soaking tub, all of which you would not have expected but received in this luxury property. In addition, the Owner was very gracious, considerate and most hospitable. They periodically check up on our wellbeing during a 24-hour snow storm which dumped 8? of snow and was plowed from the drive before our morning coffee. I would strongly recommend this property for all it offers and for the great hospitality received by the owners. *Originally posted on Homeaway/VRBO for a stay in December 2016

I can not say enough about this amazing house. The pictures were breathtaking but actually driving up to the house was magical in the snow. The interior of the house is huge and accommodated 6 adults and two kids with room to spare! The state of the art kitchen is fantastic and we made some amazing meals with family we were visiting. And we had DEER in the DRIVEWAY!!!! It was the perfect place to make our little boys have a magical snowy adventure. We can't wait to visit in the summer time and take in some of the hiking in the area. *Originally posted on Homeaway/VRBO for a stay in December 2016
