    Great size and layout

The space in the home was wonderful for our family (17 of us ages 1-61). The dishwasher did not work and had mildew in it, the refrigerator did not keep things cold which was concerning, the hot tub jets didn't work and it was only a warm tub. The towel supply was limited . The coffee pot was broken and the kitchen was missing things like regular size spoins, serving bowls , dish towels. We rented it for 3 nights so we ran out of wood which made it a bit cold the last morning. Because of the great space we will most likely use it again but go more prepared.

    Great space for large groups.

Beautiful property. Great lay out. But the day of arrival was informed the the floors had been redone. When we got there the fumes were horrible. Had to open windows and doors to breath. Had 20 women arriving at 5pm for a retreat. Where do go on a Friday with 20 women. So were just grinned and kept the doors open. Such a bummer on a beatiful place. Also DRV was listed as an ammenity and we were planning on using it for our meetings. Had to scramble last minute. Hopefully I will here from someone soon the help make ammends.

This was a great stay for our team retreat. My work mates and I had a great time. The housekeepers were very sweet and accommodating. The house was a perfect fit for our large group. It was great to be walking distance to ice cream, breakfast, restaurant and bars. Ski bowl was very close for team building events.

Great for a family get together!

This house was perfect for a small family get together - 13 people. It was close to some beautiful hikes, perfect for cooking fun meals together, sitting in the hot tub, playing games at the various tables, and hanging out together. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with staples, there was a lot of room for everyone to spread out and yet come together and it was very clean thanks to the current caretaker! There is even a restaurant across the street with beer and drinks and a small grocery store and other restaurants down the street.

Great place for a family reunion / vacation but needs maintenance

Our family really liked the setup of the house. Plenty of room for all. Nice sized kitchen with huge dining room table for everyone to sit at. Looking at the house from the outside I would never have guessed how roomy the house was on the inside. The use could use some maintenance. The deck has peeling paint. The screen door to the deck will not stay on the tracks. When we first came into the house through the front door on the first floor it had a slight musty basement odor. After opening up all the window and airing out the house it improved but didn't totally go away.

    Perfect location, spacious, warm area

We stayed here at the Great Blue Lodge for the day before and after our daughters wedding. everything was as expected. We did however try to use the hot tub but could not get it to operate. I don't know if it was not working or maybe just user error. Probably user error. Anyway, This lodge served its purpose. We enjoyed our stay and intend to reserve another stay soon.

We spent three nights at this house and were very impressed. 10 adults and 2 kids had plenty of room, and the house could easily accommodate several other families. The hot tub is great and the sauna is especially nice (and unique!). The house is just minutes away from skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding. And across the street from a brewery - what more could you ask for??!!? We'll definitely try to make it back here in future years, and would highly recommend the house to other groups.

We are looking forward to returning next winter for our weekend on the mountain with friends. This house accommodates multiples families well with 6 bedrooms to have your own private space and an open main and upper floor to commune together. We enjoyed tubing at Ski Bowl, kids ski lessons at Summit, cross country at Teacup Lake and sledding at White River. Best part of the day was winding down in the hot tub and warming up in the sauna.

Before you book ensure that the jacuzzi is working, I booked this place mainly because of the large hot tub but upon arriving I learned that it was broken and after I talked to the local caretakers and accessing the problems my self I could clearly see that it had been broken for a while. Tried to get fair compensation that would help everyone in my large group who were all very disappointed in not have a hot tub. Home owner tried to play it off as if she knew nothing of the issues, and we could not talk directly to the home owner because of what seemed to be she was to angry and wanting to blame us for trying to take advantage of the situation. We were very close to comprise that would actually help my whole group that was sincerely disappointed in not having use of our "key" amenity that we all paid a large amount of money for, but she turned it down and demanded we vacate the premise immediately. Do want to note that the local host and evolve team were all very helpful and understanding of trying to resolve the problem
