This could be a nice little cabin if it had some upkeep. The landscaping and driveway are overgrown making it hard to get in/out of car. Cabin was not clean. We spent the first hour of our stay cleaning for ourselves to be comfortable. Downstairs toilet needs replaced it doesn?t work well and almost overflows. Bed linens were not fresh and towels in bathrooms were stiff. The hot tub and few from the deck were very nice. It?s a peaceful secluded cabin.

Great view, but cleanliness was an issue for sure. More adequate job should have been done with dusting and wiping down surfaces. We also struggled with the second bathroom, there was no shower, just an open tub. Perhaps more transparency on the listing.

We enjoyed it very much ! Definitely would come back again!

Away from all the crazy city life and tourist attractions but close enough to have a nice drive to travel back and forth. Great quite place to hike and enjoy the quiet of the evening. The parking was a little issue and was tight and the bushes in front needed trimming so you could open the car door. We saw bunnies too.

Firstly the balcony, it was as we expected - spacious, great view of mountains. But it was not clean. We had to spend nearly an hour to clean the dust on the chairs and tables. Secondly, the property is listed as two bathroom. On the other hand the second bathroom is just an open bath-tub (with no curtains or door) near master bedroom. Considering all the amenities, this is a good place with clean linens / blankets, fully kitchen and spacious. Thank you for your hospitality.

Hi Patricia, Thank you for letting us know about your stay. We appreciate you taking the time to share your additional feedback with our team, and we have passed it along to the homeowner. They have very high standards for the maintenance of their vacation cabin, and they will be addressing your feedback with their local property manager. Thank you for your review, and we hope to have the opportunity to travel with you again soon! Best, the Evolve Team
This was an amazing cabin with a beautiful view of the smokies off the back porch which also has a nice gas grill, patio set, and the hot tub. I loved the cute spiral staircase down to the bedrooms (which have really comfy beds, by the way) and the second bathroom. The master has a Jacuzzi tub and separate toilet with sink so you don't tie up the whole bathroom if you decide you want to soak in the tub. (Great when you have kids) What a great idea! If all of this isn't enough, there is a washer and dryer so if you get all dirty in your activities, you can wash your clothes and don't have to worry about ruining your clothes. I've stayed here a couple times and look forward to staying here again this summer.
This quiet area was what we were looking for while taking time out from touring Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville! We loved the kitchen since it had everything we needed . We also enjoyed grilling one of our meals. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every evening to wind down. Even though we weren't used to spiral staircases, we were getting used to this one before we left. The bedrooms were in a good location, away from the living area and the laundry facilities were in a convenient spot off the master bedroom. We loved the view off the balcony and even took a walk to further take in the mountain experience. We're going back in the fall!
This cabin was great for what we needed. My husband and I enjoyed the big bed and the kids were fine in the guest room. The stairs are a little weird, but we spent most of our time in the living and kitchen area. Really only used the stairs when it was time for bed. Having the laundry machines was really nice. We were able to wash our clothes before we packed them. I appreciate how quiet and secluded it is. Gatlinburg is so loud and busy and I would not have enjoyed being in town. Having a fully functional kitchen was also nice. It can get really expensive if you have to eat out for every meal. The owners were really nice also. They did everything they could to help.
Grill didn’t work, not enough towels, tub dirty, mold in bathroom, parking was awful for a full size truck, all outdoor furniture was dirty, and check in is to late. Had a good time and hope in my future vacations I don’t have to clean to be there. Thanks

Gina, we're glad to hear you had a great time at this cabin! We're sorry to hear about the scenario you encountered as cleanliness is of the utmost importance. The homeowner is working actively with the property manager to ensure that this isolated experience doesn't recur for future guests. The grill does work correctly, but guests do need to provide propane, we apologize if that caught you off guard. The owner prioritizes guest experience, and we're confident this home will continue to host many satisfied guests! Best, the Evolve Team
We enjoyed the cabin very much. The view was lovely. It was very quiet and peaceful. The living room and kitchen were large, well-appointed and spacious. The two bedrooms were on the lower level accessible by a charming, rustic spiral staircase....but not suitable for takkng big suitcases down. I was glad we brought small duffle bags. There was a windstorm during our stay where we lost power on our second night. We were pleased to find 2 bright, battery operated lanterns on the mantle. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We enjoyed spending New Year's in this home this year. The home was a good size for our group which was 4 adults and 2 children. One thing to be aware of is the stairs. All the bedrooms require going up and down stairs. The stairs in the house are very narrow/spiral. There is a way to get to the bedrooms by a easier set of stairs that are outside and enter in the basement type door. These work well for loading luggage, but in cold weather you would not want to do this in the morning when you are ready for a cup of coffee! The other thing to know is that the shower is upstairs while the bedrooms are downstairs. Kind of awkward when showering and dressing. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home.

This location was secluded enough for the peace and calm of vacation but also near other cabins. The scenery was beautiful and definitely would recommend to others! We would stay again!

The Evolve Management Company advertises that “All of our properties adhere to our 4 Core Property Standards, so you’ll always arrive to a home that’s Safe, Clean, Guest Ready and As Advertised” but this isn’t at all how it is and they didn’t meet any of their own standards. I would like to start off by saying that the cabin was dirty dirty! Food in the fridge, coffee pot was disgusting, waffle maker covered in food, whirlpool had a soap scum ring in it and the only shower had rust running down the fixtures. Also the toilet seat in the bathroom on the main floor was broken making me believe if it was in fact cleaned it would have been seen and replaced instead of me contacting someone to do so. Upon someone showing up to fix the toilet they removed the only operating grill that we were allowed to use because the one in the photos in faint writing says DO NOT USE OWNERS ONLY unlike as advertised online as “Head outside to the expansive furnished deck to grill up juicy burgers on the charcoal grill”. Unfortunately this cabin wasn’t as described. It wasn’t user friendly because the only shower offered was on the opposite floor to all of the bedrooms. The toilet on the lower level kept kicking on in the middle of the night waking my husband and myself up. The deck coming off the master was horrible. Beware of the driveway also it is difficult to park and is very dangerous! Also this cabin is a minimum of 30 minutes away from most attractions not 20 minutes as described. I do have to say the view was a good one and we did truly enjoy that but honestly that was the only thing the place had going for it. If I could recommend anything it would be to clean better and describe the cabin properly. I would not recommend this cabin to anyone. Shop around everyone!

Manager's Response: Hi Tonia, We are sorry to hear that the cabin fell short of your expectations. You are correct that Evolve has very high standards for the properties on our network, and the homeowner is also dedicated to the upkeep of their family's cabin. They tried to work with you on a resolution after you reached out with your concerns, but they did not hear back from you. They also let us know that they did remove one grill from the property, but a gas grill is still available for guest use. We apologize that you did not have the 5-star stay that we strive to provide for our guests, and we'd be happy to connect you with the homeowner if you would like to discuss your experience further. Best, the Evolve Team
We?ve liked this place. However, if you are traveling with old people or small kids, keep in your mind that the bedrooms are located in the lower floor with a very tricky swirl, uncomfortable stairs that might get you suppppper dizzy! Overall, nice place but I think if we have searched more we might get other nicer property and cheaper with the same or more better facilities.

Shouq, thank you for your response. The homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: "I am sorry your stay was not as awesome as it should have been. If there's anything I can do to change your mind about our property, please let me know. My mother passed away in December of 2017, and we have tried to run her hideaway to the best of our abilities since. Please, if there is anything that I can do to help please let me know. Thank you for your review and I hope you have a better stay in the smokies mountains in the future." Thank you again for your feedback! Best, the Evolve Team
This cabin was convenient for our experience to go zip lining and to go to Dollywood but I think the lay out was odd and would be a difficult stay for some due to the bedrooms in the lower part and the difficult staircase. Also the grinder pump in the downstairs bathroom had a lot of issues this weekend. Loud and beeping. Overall, clean and comfortable enough.

Nice, quiet, secluded. Easy entrance and exit. Has a beautiful view in the back, has all the amenities that you would need on a cabin trip

the owners communication was great and they were accessible to fix our hot water issue in no time. The house is beautiful and I would stay again.

The cabin was well appointed. The spiral staircase down to the bedrooms and 1/2 bath is pretty challenging(my dog couldn?t navigate the tight turns/small steps). The railing on the back deck where the hot tub is was very wobbly, so we stayed clear of it. The beds were very comfortable and everything worked but the blender, I brought one just in case. Make sure and bring all that you need as it is a winding twisting 30 mins to anywhere.

Cabin had all the comforts of home. Warm and inviting. Even had flannel sheets and heated blanket on master bed

This is a beautiful cabin and fits in well with the surroundings. The view if the Smokey Mountains is indescribable. It is so peaceful and relaxing it's easy to let the stress if the day drift away. The hot tub on the beautiful covered porch. The fully stocked kitchen is a nice addition as food can get pricey in nearby towns. I did like how its centrally located and is easy to get to Pidgen Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, all have lots of things to do. I will definitely be back!
Great place to stay, just need a few adjustments like gas grill should be available for everyone to use and in good condition; also the driveway needs improvement, if you don?t have a 4x4 then you can only get in and out on one side. Place was clean and cabin was well equipped for all basic needs and more, specially the kitchen. It?s a little far from the town of Gatlinburg but only 25 minutes away. It?s better to be prepared grocery wise! Great view and peaceful environment! Great place to stay overall!

My family and I stayed in this cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday and we were not happy. First the living room area has a very strong smell of dog urine. Then the heat quit working while we were there. Thankfully my husband is a heating and air guy so he was able to get it back to working. Then while we were gone from the cabin on the day after Thanksgiving to enjoy some family time my husband's medication and very expensive boots went missing. We will definitely not be staying here again and I do not recommend this cabin at all!!!

We got the best cabin of all our family. The cabin was so comfortable and we enjoyed it.
We had a super time and enjoyed the cabin and hot tub. The owner was so nice and added an ESPN special football games were on that we didn't want to miss. Totally enjoyed the cabin and area.
This was the best cabin we ever stayed in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin was beautiful and more relaxing than we expected. The kitchen had everything we needed to make great breakfast and dinners. We enjoyed Dollywood and Dollywood cups were left and we got a discount on drinks at Dollywood. We went to a show and enjoyed the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s. The beds were comfortable and we got great nights of sleep. I highly recommend this cabin to all families.
The cabin was even more beautiful in person. The windows out onto the huge covered deck was gorgeous. My family enjoyed spending each evening in the hot tub watching the stars. What a beautiful site we never see back home. To the owner I say everything was first rate and much more than we expected. Thank you for your directions and back way routes. We definitely recommend this cabin and will stay here again.
Everything was first rate and fine quality. Something we have never witnessed before in our 25 years of traveling. The owner called before we left to answer any questions we might have had about our trip. She gave us excellent directions to the cabin. The cabin was very pet-friendly. She supplied a crate for Bella for when we left and has a locked fenced in area just for dogs.
The HD Flat screen TV's were enjoyable with a Blue Ray Player attached to each TV. The beds were pillow top and relaxing. The furniture was comfortable and matched the decor of a log cabin. The hot tub had a beautiful view of the mountains during the day and the stars at night.
The cabin was 100% better than we ever expected. We will be back often.
We totally enjoyed the cabin. It was extremely comfortable and the beds were Sleeping on pillow top comfort. Everything was first class. The shower even had a glass door. Not something you see in rental cabins. The kitchen had everything you needed. We even had waffles for breakfast one morning. I strongly recommend this cabin for a wonderful vacation.
There was brand new furniture and surround sound on the living room Hugh flat screen TV. We live in the mountains ack home and certainly understood the only way to have WIFI is Hughsnet and it is expensive. Most cabins don't even supply it so we were glad to find a cabin with access to the internet. You're here on vacation not to watch Netflix. The internet was great to keep up with email and look for sites to visit. The bathrooms were just renovated and had double sinks and a glass shower door. I've never had that in even more expensive cabins I rented. The beds were pillows top and so comfortable. The hot tub had an awesome view and at night you could see the stars. It was relaxing drinking my coffee on the covered deck. There was a fenced in area for my dog that could be locked so our dog was safe. Also was provided a large crate and water and food dished. We only left our dog home once but he enjoyed the toys and crate. The rest of the time home he was free with us.
We enjoyed Dollywood and the dinner shows.
We had waffles and a crockpot was provided for one of our dinners. I absolutely recommend this cabin as a great place for an amazing vacation.
Beds were very comfortable. Nevertheless, the description was misleading. Two bathrooms stated, but the full bathroom was upstairs off the liiving room- 1/2 bath downstairs with both bedrooms. The spiral staircase leading to the basement were very treacherous & totally not suitable for seniors or disabled people. The air wasn't even turned on when we arrived on a 98 degree- the inside temp was 85! Cleaning wasn't thorough at all. Very secluded area with a view of of trees only.Thankfully we had a gps, would have never found the place otherwise. We have used vrbo 10-15 years& this is my first negative review. Hope this info helps others. Reviewer location Fort Payne, AL

To take a shower you have to go upstairs where others maybe up doing something not very private and there are signs everywhere can't use this are there will be an additional charge, can't use the grill on the back deck can't use this or that charges will apply. Nice cabin I guess, but I would not stay here again
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience in this home and we are sorry that your stay fell short of expectations. We take feedback from our guests very seriously, and have shared your feedback with the owner so they may make any necessary adjustments to ensure future guests have the best possible vacation experience in this home. Thank you for letting us know and we hope to assist you again in booking a vacation rental that will exceed your expectations! Best, The Evolve Team
The cabin was absou;utly beautiful more than I expected. It was more comportable than my own apartment and we had a fantastic time. Would definately reccommend this cabin and rent it again.
What a wonderful time we had on our Smoky Mountain Vacation at Majestic View Hideaway in May, 2017! This beautiful cabin was nestled among the trees, along a winding road in the middle of the Smoky Mountains. What a private, great, relaxing spot for a vacation. We were away from the crowds of the towns, yet close enough to enjoy and appreciate the shows, the restaurants, and all of the excitement this area has to offer.
As we entered, we first saw a fireplace, beautiful hickory kitchen cupboards, super appliances and kitchenware, a lovely sitting area and a very modern bath and shower. An added bonus was a large deck with lots of furniture, where we enjoyed eating in the privacy of large trees … oh, even a nice hot tub! We had a private entrance to the bedrooms in the lower level where there was also a landing outside with a table and chairs in the sun!!!
Our friends and us had such a great time and we even made a picture book that included vacation pictures and pictures of the lovely cabin!
We had a fantastic vacation the last week in March early April. The cabin was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Spring was in the air and the awesome view from the back deck with hot tub was magical.. we definitely recommend this cabin for a great comfortable vacation.
Great place for family of 4 with 2 teenaged kids. Cabin well appointed
