Everything about the property was as advertised. It was clean, nicely furnished and GREAT! Wife and I had a relaxing 4 nights with grandkids and other family dropping by. Caught catfish and mullet off the dock, in spite of the current algae bloom in the lake. Grill worked great, in fact the entire deck/dock setup was very nice. Overall, I expect we will be back in the fall, when the weather cools a bit so we can enjoy outside even more. Betst times were sunrise, with a great breeze off the lake, and sunsets fishing out on the end of the run with the grandkids. Outstanding place!

This place is very well set up - clean, good amenities, plenty of room. Extremely comfortable and spacious. But the real draw is the scenery. The views of the lake are just wonderful. Sitting on the balcony in a recliner with a drink in hand, watching the sun set (or rise) is a great experience. If I could change anything about my trip, it would be to spend more time at the house enjoying the calm and maybe trying my hand at some crabbing and fishing. The one hesitancy I would have about returning is the distance from downtown. We knew it would be a bit of a trek, but it's actually a bit further than we anticipated. Expect about a 40+ minute drive and ALSO waiting 15-20 minutes for a car if you don't have your own. In 3 days we didn't have a single driver who had ever been to the area. One plus on being so far from the city: you're close to Dong Phuong, an amazing Vietnamese bakery and restaurant. Go there and thank me later.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. Our kids loved sleeping in the bunk beds in the same room as us. We had a blast checking the crab traps everyday. The furnishings - couches, chairs, beds, etc. were all very comfortable and the owner is wonderful to work with. She texted me ahead of time so that I would be able to contact her should I need anything. And sure enough, I did. We accidentally left our pillows and didn't realize it until we were a ways away. I sent her a message and asked if she would ship them to me and she graciously did. I fully recommend this location. It's great as is the owner.

Definitely going back in the future. The pier had to be about 70 yards long. Crab traps were already out and baited when we got there. The crabs seemed endless, we boiled crabs multiple times. Fishing under the lights at night worked out really well. We caught a bunch of specks (a couple over 3 pounds) and a couple really nice redfish --- perfect size for eating. One guy caught a speck with just a bare hook --- not bs'n. They were biting anything that moved under those lights. We ate like kings the whole weekend. The camp was very nice too --- but bring your own BBQ pit and beware, the oven has a short in it.The stove top worked fine but the over was turning off (and on!) by itself. So all cooking was done in the fryer they provided and on the stove top.
