We really enjoyed this condo. There were no stairs. Which was great for our group. It was furnished very nice and the back deck was great for sitting out and enjoying the scenery.

We rented this place for a family ski vacation. My wife is a ?clean-freak? and it?s very difficult to find rental property that is clean and properly maintained. I like convenience and also like a place to be clean. We loved this place! The unit was well-prepped, clean and inviting. Nice decor- Very fitting for the unit...which adds to the nostalgia. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and very prompt in returning emails. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay.

Property is just like in the pictures. Very spacious! Location is perfect for skiing and winter park. Casino is a short drive(no big deal). Property was very clean, and had everything we needed. I will definitely inquire in this property in the future!

Really enjoyed the morning view out in the balcony. We got to see plenty of deer and beautiful birds. Very peaceful and cozy. We will defiantly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy some time away from home. All the reviews for this property are right on point can't add anything else. It was an overall wonderful stay.

This home is very accommodating, clean and well appointed. We found it convenient, yet quite and not right in the high traffic area. I wold stay here again! In the winter it would be super convenient to the mountain!

Everything about our stay was amazing, primarily due to the comfort & convenience of this condo. Only 2 of us stayed for a romantic getaway but going with a group would've been so much fun. We've already told all of our friends & family & will always stay here when visiting Ruidoso. Reviewer location Austin

Spacious, comfortable, home away. We enjoyed the beautiful scenic view off of the deck and from the living area! We had Deer and lots of hummers visiting as well as the largest blue birds I've ever seen. The convenience of no stairs will be nice if we want to bring our parents, also. We will be back!! Very nice rental! Once I got passed the key lock issue. (Operator error) Lol. But the owner was very helpful when I called. So, THANK YOU! My parents came along (first time visit to Ruidoso). The rental was very comfortable for us. My mom and I enjoyed the back deck for our morning meditation. Very peaceful.

Beautiful condo in a fantastic location. Seems secluded but close to amenities. Views from the deck were amazing. We saw several elk! We were fortunate to visit during the first big snowfall of the year. It was absolutely beautiful to watch either through the large windows or by venturing out to the deck. The place has everything you need. Comfortable beds, great fireplace. Even has a grill which was great to use, even during the snow. The roads were plowed almost immediately which was comforting. We did have one issue that we needed to contact the owner about. He was amazing! In constant communication making sure everything was ok! I would highly recommend this to family and friends.

I loved this property from the moment I started emailing with the owner, Jeff. Felt like we had been friends for years and it felt like we were staying at a good friend's house. Tons of space and super cutely decorated. Couldn't have been happier!

Warning: If you stay in this condo, you will NOT want to leave! This was my second stay here - and I can't wait to go back again! It is beautifully decorated/elegant, cozy, comfortable, very spacious, and luxurious all at the same time. The beds and linens are soft and comfy - the sofas are overstuffed and relaxing to lounge on - the luscious trees all around make you feel like you're in a tree house - the kitchen is wonderful to use while on vacation with family as it is open to the living room - the deck is wonderful to star gaze at night and have coffee on in the mornings... Very conveniently located as just a few minutes from shopping/downtown Ruidoso, but right at the base of Ski Apache for easy access to the mountain as well. I wish this was MY HOME and can't wait to go back for rest and relaxation!!

My fiancé and I took our two girls with us for the weekend and we LOVED the place!! It was cozy and entertaining! The girls had an absolute BLAST with the karaoke machine!! We would definently recommend and return to this specific condo. Jeff was also very helpful and greatly suggestive of attractions in the area. THANK YOU!! Arnold S.

HEAVENLY AND FUN MOUNTAIN RETREAT = #15
We wanted a cozy, CLEAN, family friendly house that would provide each of us with our own space, privacy from one another, indoor and outdoor play areas for my granddaughter, fun in the snow, and beautiful views. We found it here! 3 bedrooms each have a new cable TV, 3 FULL bathrooms - 2 inside the bedrooms and one in the adjacent hall, an open kitchen with eat-in bar, an open dining and living room with fireplace, and a connected glass den with workout equipment. This room was a big hit with my granddaughter because the television had a DVD player, and she entertained herself within eyesight. She was constantly running to the floor-to-ceiling windows in search of the deer we fed on the driveway each morning. Details:
1. HOUSE: It's a cozy, lodge style. All areas but the bedrooms are open to one another, making it possible to socialize between the kitchen, living room and glass den. This is a nice feature if you have family of different age groups. After skiing the morning of Super Bowl Sunday, we used the grill on the treetop balcony while watching the game from the kitchen and comfy sofas in front of the fireplace.
2. BEDROOMS: All have equally good bedding and private baths. One BR has a bath with shower stall in the hallway, but it's right outside the door. It's "fair" sleeping for all in large groups. No haggling over who pays extra, with a small exception on the master. All beds are queens, the bedding is new and good quality. Plenty of extra sheets and there's a washer and dryer in the kitchen. The sofa in the glass den is also a sleeper.
3. MASTER: The master bedroom has a HUGE attached bathroom with deep jacuzzi tub and double sink vanity. It's one of 2 ways to access the master bedroom - from the hallway or from the glass room.
4. KITCHEN: The only thing you need to bring or buy are groceries and laundry detergent. The kitchen has every appliance or piece of equipment you can imagine. The dishwasher detergent is supplied because you MUST follow their very clear directions since the hard water leaves a film on glass.
5. FUN/TOWN: Besides skiing and snow boarding in the area, Ruidoso is cute and is fun to stroll. The Walmart that carries inexpensive ski and snow gear in case you forget something. We bought an inexpensive sled that we used in the on-property and at the ski area. (It's in the entry way closet for ourselves and others for next time, but PLEASE leave it there if you use it!

With this being our first experience with rentals of this type, the bar was definitely set high!!! The accommodations were exceptional and more than we could have even imagined. The owners were wonderful to work with, especially with a last minute addition change to our rental time. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay and first experience very enjoyable. Definitely recommend this location to friends and family!! *This review was originally posted on VRBO for a stay in Jul-16
My daughter and I needed this trip. My dad had recently passed away, we wanted some mom/daughter time, and she and her husband needed a getaway with built in babysitting. Symbiosis! We were looking for a week of fun AND tranquility within driving distance from Austin, and we hit the jackpot! We had her 20 month old; our husbands were flying to meet us for a long weekend (Note: when flying you will have to get to El Paso and rent a car for the 2+ hour drive. In retrospect, they too, should have driven.). We needed a cozy, CLEAN, well equipped, family friendly house that would provide each of us with our own space, privacy from one another, indoor and outdoor play areas for my granddaughter, fun in the snow for all of us, and beautiful views. #15 at ----- provided it ALL. I mean ALL! There are 3 bedrooms, each with new cable TVs, 3 FULL bathrooms - 2 inside the bedrooms and one adjacent, an open kitchen with eat-in bar, an open dining and living room with fireplace, and a connected glass den with workout equipment. We did not use the equipment of course, as much of our trip was about relaxation and comfort, but this room was a big hit with my granddaughter. The television in it has a DVD player which kept her entertained with Daniel Tiger, playing with her toys, and running to the ceiling-to-floor windows in search of her dear, deer friends we fed on the driveway every morning. Deer were actually outside her bedroom window when she woke, waiting for us to hand feed them! Here are some unique and great features about this particular property in Alto, NM that will have us returning: 1. HOUSE: Its decorated in a cozy, lodge style. Our granddaughter played in the open, adjacent glass den watching her toddler DVDs, and there was no sound interference between the 2 TVs. There is so much seating space, we could've had a party! There are 3 sofas in the living room and 1 in the den. I did a lot of reading and planning for our side trips and dinners out on the smaller, cozy sofa that faces the treetop balcony. I'm really picky about upholstery and bedding in rental property and have been known to travel with Lysol spray. It was NOT needed in this house! They must have an excellent cleaning or management group. 2. BEDROOMS: All bedrooms have equally good bedding and private baths. Again, one bedroom has a bath with shower stall (no tub) in the hallway, but it's right outside the door, and the bedroom is as nice or nicer than the others. It's fair sleeping for all in large groups! No haggling over who pays extra, with small exception on the master. All beds are queens, the bedding is new and of good quality, there are plenty of extra sheets, and there's a washer and dryer in the kitchen. (I wish I'd known. Pack light because you can wash!) If you have extras in your group or a singleton who doesn't want to share a queen bed, the sofa in the glass den is a sleeper. We didn't need it, so I don't know how well it sleeps, but I did see a foam topper in one of the closets that could make it comfy. 3. MASTER: The master bedroom has a HUGE attached bathroom with deep jacuzzi tub and double sink vanity. It's one of 2 ways to access the master bedroom - from the hallway or from the glass room. This bathroom is clearly a remodel as the toilet is near the tub so it's not private, but you can close the bath off with doors from the bedroom and hall. It has has nice, new cabinetry, counters, fixtures, lighting and tile. 4. KITCHEN: The only thing you will need to bring or buy are groceries and laundry detergent. The kitchen has every appliance or piece of equipment you can imagine. The dishwasher detergent is supplied because... You MUST follow their very clear directions for using the dishwasher since the hard water is very mineral heavy. If glassware doesn't look clean when you arrive, the previous guests didn't follow directions for adding the provided vinegar to the cycle. If you plan to cook, bring your own seasonings. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal prep, but I don't think you'll find even salt & pepper. 5. USAGE: Directions for using the WiFi, TVs, fireplace, trash facility, and everything else are nicely framed and clearly posted throughout the house. These "signs" don't feel unfriendly. It feels like they are there to genuinely help you enjoy your stay and to help maintain this extra special rental. There is contact info in case your section of the driveways need to be cleared of snow, information about where the community center pool and conference room are located, and information about where to eat and what to do in town. 6. FUN: There are many fun things to do in the area besides skiing and snow boarding. The town of Ruidoso is close, cute and quaint. Yes, it has a Super Walmart, but you'll be glad for it! It carries inexpensive ski and snow gear in case you forget something (like we did!), and we even bought an inexpensive sled that we used in the on-property woods and at the ski area. We left it in the entry way closet for ourselves and others for next time, but PLEASE leave it there if you use it ; )! BTW... Like us, you WILL get busted for using sleds etc at Sierra Blanca. They will not allow activity other than skiing and snow boarding. (See my separate review on the ski area.) We made a fun day of historical exploration at nearby Ft. Stanton, and we'll visit Lincoln and the state hiking and fishing. If you've been to Sierra Blaca/Alto/Ruidoso before, you know it's no Colorado or Utah, but it's affordable snow for folks like us, and it's *QUICK DRIVING DISTANCE for us Texans! It's clear the owners of this place take pride in their home. It's doesn't feel at all like a rental or vacation property, nor do you feel you're invading someone else's place. If you stay, please heed the owners' very helpful guidelines for maintaining and enjoying the property because we are now emotionally attached, and we WILL be back! In fact, we plan to go during the hot doldrums of summer so we can experience this place during a different season. Geez... So why am I sharing this??? Shh.... It's just for those of us who appreciate! ;-)

Very nice place to stay and a nice owner to work with. Would stay here again if we went back. We had everything available that was needed to make us comfortable.

We feel the pictures were a little deceiving as the unit was quite dark. Not much sunlight came in and the lighting from the fixtures was very dim. Enjoyed the deck and the deer showing up mornings and evenings. The furniture was nice and the bed was quite comfortable. Plenty of dishes and cooking supplies. We enjoyed Ruidoso and found plenty of activities to keep us busy. Owner responded to our needs timely; had ants upon arrival and housekeeper came right away. TV reception and Wi-fi needed repairing and that was taken care of during the week.
We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, and thanks for taking the time to post a review. The unit has great natural light if you keep the blinds open, which you'll notice is the case in most of the photos. We are glad to hear that the owner was responsive to your needs and able to help you out! Enjoy your future travels! ~ The Evolve Team

Stayed here July 1-6, 2015. Thank you for a great vacation. Your condo fit our every need and the welcome package was a very nice unexpected bonus. My kids really enjoyed feeding the deer with the corn you left us. We all had a wonderful time in Ruidoso and hope to return again soon. When we do decide to return, we will surely look you up and stay at your condo again if it is available. Thanks again for making our summer vacation a memorable one. Note; This condo is a great value for the price and the owners are super nice. The condo was large, very clean and beautiful, with great mountain scenery. Don't forget to do the exhilarating three stage Zip Line up ski Apache, which is close by and the best ever. It is the highest elevation of any Zip Line in the country.

This was such a blessing. More than enough room for five adults and a baby. Although the location was a little farther than expected, this was easily managed. The deer were a treat for all and the porch was so relaxing. I would go back ever year. The owners keep updating the property which makes the place so amazing. Everyone had there own bathroom and plenty of room. Not the greatest cell reception, but this is true for anywhere in the mountains.

The condo was very clean and up to date. The view from the balcony was great cause you could see the deer and go out and feed them. I'm definitely staying again if I have the chance! The owner was very helpful when I had questions and I absolutely loved his place.

This location is a great place to stay. I stayed during the King of The Mountain USSSA Baseball Tournament. This location is in a prefect spot to stay. It is very close to the field location and has plenty of wildlife running around. The condo is very clean and roomy. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the Ruidoso area. Owner is very easy to deal with. He answers any question in a very timely manner.

My husband and I needed a few days to relax and get away from work. We arrived in the evening and the condo was fresh and clean and ready for us to move right in. The beds were comfortable and the towels were soft and plush. Just a few minutes drive from town and nestled in the trees we were close enough to restaurants and entertainment and far enough away that the nights were peaceful and quiet. We heard owls at night and really enjoyed feeding the deer. It was fun to sit on the back deck and enjoy nature. It felt like being in a tree house! One of the first things we noticed was the attention given us by the owner and housekeeper. They were available by phone to answer the few questions we had and we were especially glad of this as we lost the combination to the lock on the front door and had to call for help! We didn’t need the A/C as the climate was quite nice (57 in the am, 71 high) but it was comforting to know it was there in case we needed it. We were also pleasantly surprised to see the many amenities offered by this rental unit. There was a nice meeting room in the main clubhouse which we intend to use for a business meeting (stockholder annual meeting) for our next visit this fall. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting fun and value. Susan M, Austin Texas

Our first impression was how clean and new everything was. The lodge-like atmosphere and the New Mexico décor made for very comfortable surroundings. Coming from Texas in the middle of the hot summer to stay at the condo was a welcome relief. Thank goodness for the unit’s air conditioning as well as Alto’s normally cool climate in the evenings. We saw wild horses, some even coming right to the condo as well as a dozen or so deer and one elk! Bar-b-que-ing on the deck at night was a great way to end a perfect day of hiking, exploring and of course shopping. We also enjoyed eating at Casa Blanca and hanging out at the new Sacred Grounds Café. The unit is very near several hiking trails and we were happy and surprised to find a horned toad along the path- now a rare sighting in Texas. Some teens with our party enjoyed the pool and foosball table in the clubhouse. The surroundings and accommodations made this experience with friends and loved ones outstanding. We can't wait to go back again!
