• I wanted to love this property so badly!

  We loved that there was plenty of seating and outdoor furniture. An awesome space to entertain! Unfortunately, the lever door was so easy for our almost 2 year old grandson to open we spent much of the time chasing and arranging furniture to keep him from getting out the front door fearful of him making it to the stairs. The home was well stocked with all manner of things to cook and prepare a meal easily which made life super easy. The beach toys and chairs accessibility was so great! The additional outdoor showers and huge yard to play in made this one of my favorites! Unfortunately, the full sized beds which we believed the description says Queen were so uncomfortable, my daughter and her family ended up leaving before our trip was over because she couldn’t sleep. Dusty AC vents made me fret a little, but not enough to clean. There were power outages two days in a row. Including the morning we were packing up to leave while we were cooking breakfast. Ended on a sour note for us since we were sweating and packing our car for the tight ride home. All in all…loved the beach!

  Hi Kevin & Talita A, thanks for letting us know about your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following:
  -"Our outside doors typically have two locks, except for the glass door, which only has one lock. This door can be challenging to open even when it's not locked.​​​​​​​ We understand your concerns about how a nearly two-year-old could manage to unlock both locks, especially the deadbolts. Many of our guests, including those with arthritic hands, find the lever handles to be a convenient feature. Your feedback is valued, and we appreciate your perspective as our first guest to raise this concern.
  -We will certainly investigate the dust on the A/C vents and ensure they are kept clean. We follow a regular schedule for changing the filters to maintain air quality.
  -Unfortunately, power outages are beyond our control. When they occur, they typically affect entire neighborhoods or even sections of the island, including streetlights and local businesses. We're glad the power came back on during your stay, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused while you were packing up.
  -Regarding the beds, they are queens, and we use queen-size sheets that generally fit well. We have not received previous complaints about the beds being uncomfortable, and we're sorry to hear that you found them less than satisfactory. We will investigate this matter further, as it is not our intention to provide sleeping arrangements that would prompt a guest to leave early.
  -We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed some aspects of the house. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay and are committed to addressing the factors within our control to ensure a more pleasant experience should you choose to stay with us again."

  The house was older than I thought it would be but it was great for us. My son & dil adopted 4 kids and they had never been to the beach so they got the thrill trip of their lives. They live in western Oklahoma and they enjoyed the beach so much. We went to Rainforest to eat and they had a blast. It was a very good family vacation

  This was a lovely beach house with plenty of space and supplies for a fun trip to the beach! A recent storm impacted the internet and the host made sure to call the cable company to get it resolved as fast as possible. This is a great place to stay with a big group, there is also a huge yard!
