The property manager was wonderful! I would highly recommend her and the property. It was very peaceful and so quite. The house had everything you could want and more!

Jeri, the homeowner, goes above and beyond to ensure that you have everything you could possibly need for your trip. She accommodated us with her own handheld steamer since we were flying in for a wedding. She also left a bag of coffee for us from a local coffee shop, which was delicious! She takes a genuine interest in her guests, and is very hospitable.

It?s a wonderful cabin with great space-big enough that you don?t feel too crowded, but still cozy. The wrap-around porch is fantastic! The thoughtful spacing of outdoor seating allowed for everyone to enjoy coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. It was truly a wonderful space for friends and family to gather. I would highly recommend their cabin!

We stayed at this wonderful and unique home at the base of Mt Princeton over the Memorial Day holiday. Ed and Jeri were warm and welcoming hosts. We've stayed in several VRBO rentals and found this home to be better equipped than most. The owners have obviously spent time anticipating guests' every need. We enjoyed the quiet away from town, but had easy access to lots of the Buena Vista attractions.

Jeri and Ed are great, the house is great. It is in a beautiful location, close to all kinds of things to do, including shopping. I was there for a girls weekend, but it was cut short by an family emergency for my friend. When she had to leave, Jeri allowed my daughter's family to join me so I could continue my weekend. Thank you, Jeri. We went to St. Elmo for a visit and took my Jeep up Tincup to the top. Ed was very helpful with our electronically challenged issues using the TV and DVD player, thank you Ed. House is beautiful, deck is awesome, it is well stocked, clean and very comfortable. The master suite is enormous. Thank you, Jeri and Ed for a great weekend and lovely place to stay.

    Wonder Cabin, Great Value

    Reviewed by: Glenn F. on

We had a nice stay and a terrific time in and around Buena Vista. Ed and Jeri were wonderful hosts and could not have been more concerned about whether the cabin met our needs. The cabin itself is wonderful. It sits on a large wooded lot in a secluded neighborhood well off the main drag. The smell of pine trees and views of Mt. Princeton were perfect for our getaway from the summer heat of Houston. Our two kids took over the downstairs game room and christened it “The Kid Cave”. We had a hard time getting them to come up to go do exciting things around BV. The sleeping arrangements upstairs were more than enough for us and everything that we could have possibly needed was provided by the owners. We used the kitchen every day and once again, there was not a pot, pan, utensil or gadget that we needed that Ed and Jeri had not foreseen and provided. Overall this cabin exceeded our expectations in value, location and accommodation. We would definitely stay here again and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain get-away.

The toughest day of a vacation is the day after you're back. Meeting Ed and Jerry and staying in their amazing home is only making it tougher. The location is secluded, but not no far removed that you can't easily venture out. The house is very comfortable and had every amenity we could have asked for. We will be back and can only recommend others to enjoy what we did.
