Charming owners . Place is immaculate . Location near town and sensational water views. Hosts ..... world class
Enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Cottage. Super clean, organized, darling cottage, (perfectly decorated), just on the edge of the heart of Stuart. Paul and Beth made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. After a short walk through and orientation, we barely knew the owners were on site. Every amenity has been thought of, including everything you need for cooking, (if you prefer). Beach chairs and beach towels are provided, plenty of bath towels, soaps and moisturizers, and even first aid supplies and an iron. Relax on the wonderful dock on the St. Lucie and watch the boats go by. The dock is complete with Adirondack chairs to enjoy a sunset cocktail each evening. Or sit on the mini beach by the shoreline, complete with firepit. The Cottage is in a very private setting, in a very quiet neighborhood. It's a short 15 minute walk (either via the scenic River Walk, or directly through the streets of Stuart), to the center of town, for fabulous dining, shopping and sightseeing. We went to town every day for either breakfast, dinner or shopping, and even attended the Farmers Market/Craft show on Sunday morning. Be sure to visit the Heritage Museum in town, and the Elliot Museum out on Hutchinson Island. It's only a 20 minute drive to the beaches of Stuart as well. Great dinners at Oak and Ember Steakhouse, Luna, and Spritz. Breakfast's at Maria's are a must. And don't forget the ice cream at Kilwin's. Wish we had a few more days to try some other restaurants. Publix is 2 minutes away by car, or walk through the neighborhood and across Palm City Road if you prefer. Would highly recommend this property to any couple looking for a quiet, romantic, cottage in a wonderful setting.
Absolutely loved this place. Everything was perfect. I wish I could’ve stayed there for a month.
